He brushes the hair from my face and leans in to kiss me, my fingers make their way through his blonde hair as his made them around my waist. I mould my body against his, but it's not close enough, I need him under my skin.
I break our kiss and we press our foreheads against each other. A smile appears on our faces, not a smirk, a genuine smile of delight, a laugh escapes my mouth and I close the gap between our lips.
Footsteps can be heard at the door. The warm feeling of Draco's breath on my neck is consistent as he whispers "Don't worry, I put a signal there so he wont come in." But a second after the reassurance of my nod, a noise of disgust can be heard from the doorway, followed by a certain, annoying tone.
"Ugh, who put this disgusting sock here?" The sound was Pansy Parkinson. "Hey Draco, you in there?" She asked, knocking "I need to speak to you." These last few words were said in her attempt at seduction. I could practically see her twirling her hair through the door.
"I'm busy." He said with a snarl. Not gonna lie, that was kinda hot. "Not like that will stop her." He looked at me up and down with a smirk as I imitate her reaction to me being in his bed half naked.
"Don't lie, Draco." Pansy said through the door. "Let her in, I wanna mess with her ego." Draco seemed surprised at my response but his facial expressions quickly morphed into a mischievous grin. We shuffle into a lot more of a suggestive position.
"Fine, come in." I stifle a giggle of excitement as the door knob turns, putting on my acting skills, I stare into Draco's eyes and puff out my chest a bit.
She walks in, keeping her seductive tone "I knew you would come aroun-" She pauses, her gaze shifts from me, to Draco and then back to me.
"I thought we had something Draco!" She yells, her voice quavers but there is an absence of tears in her eyes. Draco looks at her, rolls his eyes, and leans in to kiss me again, I fiddle with his dangling necklace and peer over at Pansy who's mouth is wide open.
She storms out as me and Draco break the kiss and I give her a little petty wave. I sigh and stand up reluctantly. "I'd better head back to my room." He nods, looking slightly crestfallen. I smile sympathetically and give a little wave as I step through the door.
Butterflies filled my stomach as I walked back to my room. Charli is already asleep and I flop onto my bed, a smile permanently stuck to my face.
The next morning, changed that.
Once again I had to miss my room of requirements training for the inquisitorial squad, although I was surprised to see that Cho had as well. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I whisper to her, I hadn't looked at her face yet but when I did I found a face riddled with guilt.
No, no, no, please tell me you didn't rat us out. "I'm sorry." She whispered breathlessly, I heard a quaver in her voice as a tear threatened to spill from her eye.
Each calm "Bombarda Maxima" that exited Umbridge's mouth damaged me as much as it did the wall. The look on the golden trios face as their eyes drift from Draco holding Cho's cloak over to me.
My face flushes and I hide my face within the folds of my cloak. Above the fabric I spot Harry shake his head slowly in disbelief and disappointment about me and Cho.
As soon as the rest leave, I make my way towards Harry.
"I'm sorry Harry, I was trying to steer them away from our spot, I joined the inquisitorial squad to make sure no information could be leaked and get us in trouble. I'm so sorry." The words fell out of my mouth like a waterfall. I was going to continue but the look on Harry's face stopped me from doing so.
"Harry, what's wrong?" He looks up and I finally get a good look at the dewiness of his eyes.
"I kissed her, I loved her, hell I saved her life. Yet this is how she repays me?" I held his shaking hands. "I don't know why she ratted us out, but it has to be a good damn reason. I see the way she looks at you Harry. Ill find out for you ok."
"Was... was it something I did?" I shake my head as tears start to form at my eyes too. "No, Harry, definitely not!" He sighs and I lead him back out of the room, squeezing his hand.
He walks off and another pair of hands made their way into mine, Draco's. "Do you like him or something?" "No, he is just a friend Draco." I sigh. "Friends don't look at friends that way." "Would you rather me run off with him?" I turn to face him, he is stuck in a face expression that was caused by lack of words coming to his mouth.
"I actually might, now that I think about it. I'm constantly having to fix things with you and it's tiring." I drop my hand but he picks it up again. "No, no, we can sort this out." "Can we?" I ask.
I walk out, leaving him stuck as a spluttering mess.
