"Shit, what have I done." I whine, shoving my face into my pillow as Charli rubs circles on my back to comfort me.

"You honestly are right, you two always have something wrong nearly everyday and I'm honestly kind of sick of being your therapist." A chuckle escapes my lips and immediately put on a comically angry face. "Stop, I'm tryna be mad."

We both laugh and I fall into her hug, I know that me and Draco had our ups and downs but I really loved him, he got me in a way that no one else could. "I know that our fighting was bad but-" She puts her cold fingers to my lips and hushes me like I was her baby.

"No, you need a break." She kisses me on the forehead and I smile. "What would I do without you Charli?" "You'd probably be off a cliff right now if it weren't for me."

I get up, nearly knocking over Charli. "Right, I best be off to the library, I have some studying to do."

The corridor is full, it seems that everyone had the same idea as me, especially because of the OWLS coming up. Two boys are brawling at the first door to the library, the queue behind them watching.

I decide to go through the side door, this way causes me to pass Dumbledore's office and overhear a few words. The sound is from prime minister Fudge, what is he doing here?

"Send you to Azkaban." What? Dumbledore? To Azkaban? No! I see a flash of golden light through the crack of the door and hear a phoenix screech.

I decide to keep my head down and rush to the side door of the library before anyone catches me snooping.

I walk backwards into a warm body and look up to see who it is that had placed their hands on my arms. It was Draco.

Butterflies swarm my stomach as he smirks at me but I pull away and continue to make my way to the side door. I pause before entering and catch a glimpse of his crestfallen face. I look away and let out a small sob that he hopefully couldn't hear as I stepped through the library door.

After my study session, I bump into a crowd of people, gathered at the wall of educational Decrees. Filch has put another on up that reads:

Educational Decree No. 119- Delores Jane Umbridge has replaced Albus Dumbledore as head of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The Decrees already had been coming fast but after that message, they seemed to arrived faster. Some were genuine rules but others were just ludicrous. To make matters worse, she was going around the school and correcting those that weren't following her rules to a T.

All the paintings have been rid of their inhabitants, those who did not comply were expelled and the rest of 'Dumbledores Army' had to use Umbridge's special quill to ensure that they would not do any other 'Illicit activities ever again'.

By the looks on their faces from where I stood as a part of the Inquisitorial Squad, Those quills were not ordinary. I looked closely at their hands where they would rub from time to time to find that the words they had written on parchment had engraved into their skin.

It was hard to bear the sight of them in so much quiet pain, I looked away, pretending to study the giant pendulum clock behind Delores. Draco, standing next to me, went to reach for my hand but seemed to think the better of it and put it back at his side.

He doesn't know how much I craved his touch since before the library. But I can't, we can't, we'll just end up fighting again.

Cho was free of punishment and was waiting in the corridor as we filed out. I see her attempt to talk to Harry but he walks past her, not even gracing her with a glance of his eyes. I wonder if that's how Draco feels, just that way less was at stake in his actions.

I was walking in the hallway of the bridge with Dumbledores favourite three Gryffindors when we hear a pst coming from the end. A big hairy beard comes into view, it was Hagrid.

"Hagrid." Harry says. We follow him as he leads us to the forbidden forest, he stayed silent the whole time.

"Any idea where he's taking us?" Ron asked. "Hagrid, why can't you just tell us?" I ask.

There is distant neighing in the density of the trees and a rumble starts to shake the ground. Before any of us can ask what it was, a heard of centaurs stampede past.

"I've never seen the centaurs so riled." Hagrid admits, a slight tone of disbelief escapes at those words. "And they're dangerous at the best of times." He sighs.

"The Ministry restricts their territory much more, they're gonna have a full uprising on their hands." Despite the serious situation, I find it funny the way that Hagrid doesn't pronounce H's very well.

"Hagrid, what's going on?" The usual clear tone of Hermione's voice had turned breathless. "I'm sorry to be so mysterious, you four. I-I wouldn't be bothering you at all with it, but... with Dumbledore gone..." I let out a sound of sympathy at these words. Hagrid took a deep breath before finally delivering the news.

"I'll likely be getting the sack any day now." All of us gaped at his words as if we had just seen a lion eat a baby deer. "And I just couldn't leave without telling someone about him." Thunderous footsteps could be heard in the distance and the four of us turn to find a giant.

"Grawpy?" Hagrid says. Wow.
