Like a tornado destroying everything in its way, the little girl ran into the living room while chasing after a bandaged-up Mokke.
A dark aura wrapped around the room immediately, my breath quickened as IT RAN!
Giggles traveled through the room and my heart stammered in pain as IT STUMBLED!
I clenched my teeth and so...
I MOVED!!! I ripped myself free from Kou who was treating my injuries and ran over to Bubble.
With staggered breath, I swooped up the little creature on the ground, cradled it in my arms and glared back at the child that now stopped in its tracks.
"YOU MONSTER! LEAVE BUBBLE ALONE!!"
I yelled while feeling blood pump through my vanes and the pulse in my chest.
"Huh?"
The kid questioned looking completely puzzled as the voice of the Mokke started dripping into my consciousness.
"(Y/N)?! (Y/n) I'm fine!"
I look down at it my eyes brimming with tears and my nose uncomfortably running.
"No- how could you be fine?! You were injured, tortured, almost abandoned and now chased by a devil!!!"
Its beady eyes were caught up in a mix of emotion and the one that showed the most was shock.
"Wait, wait that's so much! How do you know that?!"
"That you were taken by Tsukassa, brutally beaten up and more! Yeah, I know about it, why didn't you tell me?!"
I yell
"Wh- Now I'm just confused! What do you mean by almost abandoned?"
It questions and my eyes go wide with sorrow and my mouth falls agape as I look down at it in my arms.
"...nothing, nothing! Forget about it."
I reply wanting to hang myself for even just the thought of leaving this precious thing behind.
"Teru, why is he crying?"
The young tyrant asks
"...he seems to have a lot on mind."
He dryly answer making me aware of how pathetic I looked.
With the back of my sweaty palm, I messily try erasing the evidence of my tears, but all it does is smudge them.
"I'll get us out of here, don't worry."
I said while steadying my breath and scanning the room, getting ready for a chaotic escape.
"Wait, wait! You're misunderstanding!"
The Mokke pleaded, confusing me.
"I recommend listening to your friend."
Teru spoke threateningly but Kou stretched out his hand to stop him.
"I want to correct my wrongs, I want to help you. So don't make it worse for yourself!"
Kou said with tired eyes but my glare didn't change. He seemed to regret it-...and yet I didn't want his help. Not till he isn't on Teru's side anymore.
"He is right, you are tired and confused...there are some things we need to talk about but first just calm down."
Bubble said and all I could do was release a long, irritated sigh.
"You're supposed to be on my side..."
I grumble and walk back to the couch. It felt like there was a fog in my mind preventing me from thinking anymore.
I could see the relief on Kou's face as he took my other arm and treated it in silence.
Exhaustion hung so deep in the air it covered the awkwardness of the moment. Everyone was too caught up thinking about their own emotional dilemma.
Some time passed like this...
The girl continued observing me while Teru scrolled on his phone in boredom. Beside her Bubble fell asleep on the ground.
Noticing it I look at the devil and raise a brow wanting to get her out of sight.
"Isn't it passed your bedtime Kiddo?"
She looks at me surprised and violently shakes her head. Kou who just finished my treatment was putting back the leftover bandages on the tray.
