"Your bracelet, it's missing?"
I point out and he cringes a little but doesn't reply.
"Awww, did somebody take it~"
I mock in hopes his self-control would snap, but instead, he rolls his eyes wearing my patience thin.

Impulsively I grab his tie, yanking him closer but I don't earn much of a reaction except a short gasp.
"I would start talking, your life is on the line."

He huffs cockily, his breath warm against my cold nose instantly sending my pulse into overdrive. Shivers ran up my arm as I forgot about the tie I was holding. It slipped from my hand as he spoke.
"You look scared~"

His frown turns into a smirk as he leans closer, the static around him pricking my skin, making me jerk back.

My cheeks flushed, I couldn't hide my fear, it was practically coded into my genetics. This wasn't fair, no matter how hard I tried, he stayed calm while I boiled over. I NEED TO CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE!

In seconds the thoughts overwhelmed me, my hand already on the hilt of the Katana as I pulled it out. Before he could make another sound the metal swished through the air, stopping just a moment away from his neck.

He didn't flinch nor close his eyes but they were no longer focused on me instead staring straight ahead, as if looking death in the face.

Suddenly a loud crack came from his chair as a piece of the armrest chipped due to his grip that made his knuckles turn white.

My surprise soon turned into a hysterical chuckle.
"I see, it's not that you aren't scared. You just try to hide it."
My voice was strangely delighted, I did have power over him, as much as he used to have over me.

Sweat dripped from his face as he finally turned to look back up at me, still frowning and slightly more unnerved.

"Hah! Are you finally realizing, you lost! First your weapon, then your pride, and now to me, a Mokke~"
I rub it in physically feeling how the chains from those horrible days start to rust and break down.

"Lost to you?"
He asks, but it sounds more like a threat.
"In denial, are you?"
I questioned back almost laughing, I was starting to get to him.

His eyes twitched, his jaw clenching but all he did was release a long sharp sigh and silence after.

My smile washes away, disappointed by his reaction. I grab his face roughly, about to continue the interrogation when I notice his eyes look glossy.

I was taken aback, frozen in the moment, and a chill running through me.
"Are you holding back tears?"

"Is that supposed to be a joke?"
He snaps back, his tone pissed, nothing about his actions would have given away what he really was feeling, if he even was capable of such a thing.

I removed my hand, weirdly feeling down. As if a pit of stones lay in my stomach. I looked again, his eyes were normal, not glossy not red.
Had I imagined it? Was my weakness blinding me?

Straightening myself to look down on him, my mind draws blanks on my next move. I should threaten him, I know but for some reason, I didn't feel like it anymore. Not like it was working anyway....I have to get creative.

I needed fresh air, the heat of the room and the hissing noises irritated me further. Just as I was about to push open the door someone else did it for me, the Mokke with the goggles had returned.

I stepped outside closing the door behind me.
"How is he doing?"
I ask immediately and it doesn't waste a moment to reply.
"Physically Kou was alright but he was crying in his room. We attempted to ask him what was wrong but he ignored us. We suspect he might have argued with his older brother."
