"HeY, hEy!! Th-that's not the full truth, my troops found him tied up!"
I stutter as I'm forced to sit down, with my back against the armrest as Kou yanks at my clothes.

"I could have never won against him"
I point out and he finally lets go of me, sighing. The Mokke holding weapons step back as Kou approaches Teru, aware of the unique circumstances.

He starts undoing the rope making my eyes widen.
"You can't just let him free?!"
Not after I pissed him off this much...but I kept that to myself.

The boy spares my desperate cries no mind as he undoes the restraints.

"You are not wearing your bracelet?"
Kou notices as he pulls at the ropes.

"I left it at home."
He replies but his younger brother isn't having it and raises a brow.

Exhaling he admits
"It's no longer in my possession."
Not elaborating further, his brother doesn't push it probably wanting to discuss this in private.

"Bet Mint took it-"
I commented casually and I could feel Teru's glare bore into me.
"Mint?"
Kou repeats while crossing his arms. Teru sharply inhales knowing too well there was no use hiding his stupid plan any longer.
"I was after him."

I raise both my brows, about to ask but his younger brother bet me to it.
"For what?"

"His bounty."
The Exorcist answered deadpan, I mean I see why he would want revenge, Mint screwed him over too.

"Speaking of that, (Y/N)..."
Kou says sternly and I straighten up.
"What's all this about? Bounty posters, a Huge court, this throne?"
The anger in his voice and the smile on his pissed face resembled Teru, making me press myself further against the pillows, but there was no escape.

"Uh, ya know, judging people for their crimes against Mokke?"
I shrug with an awkward grin, perhaps if I looked like it's totally normal he won't-

His face was a mix of disbelief and disappointment.
"Come with me for a moment."
He grabbed my hood roughly yanking me up to follow him.
"Hey, hey ow!"
I whine not being able to struggle against his strength as he stomped off to the backstage area with me.

The second we were out of sight he pulled me forward making me stumble and crash into the sofa as he let go.

"Now,"
He starts calmly as I sit in front of him guiltily.
"WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN DOING?!"

I flinch at his tone, avoiding his face.
"...I'm sorry?"

"You're sorry?"
He repeats, flabbergasted and I couldn't take this any longer.
"Am I? It's not like I'm being specifically evil, I'm only being fair."

"Fair?!"
He argues his pointy teeth showing as his eyes focused on mine, it looked like he wanted to continue but the longer he looked at me the fewer words came to his mind.

He closed his mouth suddenly quieter, calmer in a way scaring me more. Or perhaps he agreed with me to some degree.

"I've been doing my best playing with the cards handed to me and you say I'm still in the wrong?"
I pour out my heart, harsh but sincere, hoping he'd understand, I was doing my best I really was! But it looked like he was having a major headache as he face palmed. Slowly he dragged the hand down his face.

"We have a long road ahead of us..."
He breathed out, his hand finally leaving his face to look back at me.

I bit the inside of my mouth but ultimately was relieved he no longer was yelling at me and hadn't given me up either.

"If you guys are done now,"
A voice cut in. It was Teru who was leaning against a wall, startling both me and Kou.
"I'd like my Katana back."
A hint of disgust in his tone as he observed the scene. Kou's cheeks grew a dark pink as he cleared his throat. I pushed some hairs out of my face uncomfortably as I attempted to keep my voice from cracking.
"Ya- know the terms."
