Pov Haldir:
The moment Visha left the table, Thranduil dropped the goblet he had held. Luckily for him it was empty, so it just crashed into the ground, splattering a few drops of wine over the light stone tiles. I couldn't read the emotions, that ran through Thranduil, but by the looks of Legolas this was a rather big outburst of reaction his father showed. Slowly I shuffled the chair backwards, ready to get up and react to any kind of situation, that might appear.
With the flick of his wrist Thranduil shushed a servant back, that came running to pick up the goblet. His eyes now trained at Legolas he asked: "Tell me, I have not heard, what was just said."
"Adar, please. Not here!" Legolas pleaded. It wasn't until now, that I became painfully aware of our surroundings. Visha storming off and the dropped goblet led to the end of several conversations. Curious eyes now watching the scene unfold.
"Why not?" Thranduil spit out. "Are you perhaps scared to lose your reputation?"
"It is not mine; I fear. I simply do not wish to harm Visha." Legolas answered now obviously angered. Thranduil just laughed: "And why should I care about her? She does not respect me the way I deserve to be respected. She is nothing more than a simple woman, without anything to add."
Legolas voice was shaken with anger, when he answered: "She is important to me. If you go against her, I will gladly take my place at her side. You will not harm her, nor will you destroy her reputation."
Thranduil got up, but Legolas was quick to follow. "I do not answer to your command. I may be your father, but I am also your king."
Legolas stayed completely unbothered by the threat of his father. "Then I guess it is a good thing, it wasn't a command." And with that he left, running after Visha. I stood up. "If you wish to talk, you are welcome to search for Visha and me in our room. I promise you will get truthful answers, but don't expect them to please your will. The only thing I ask of you, is to keep it secret. For all our sake." Bowing my head. "My king." And then I left, searching for my wife and my friend. Unlike I expected, Thranduil came walking right behind me.
Pov Visha:
I was currently more or less ripping the dress of my body, when someone entered the room. It was Legolas. I didn't react to him, changing in a set of shorts, a bra and an old shirt of Haldir. That I was mad, was an understatement of my current mood. I was livid to say the least, so I didn't care, what Haldir asked of me and tugged the shirt underneath my sportsbra. Then I grabbed my weapons and made my way to the training area of Imladris.
Legolas was dead on my tracks trying to talk sense in me. "Visha please calm down. He didn't mean the things he said." I didn't answer and threw my swords to the ground. "Go away, Legolas. I do not wish to talk to you."
"I am not going anywhere." He refused.
"Fine!" I screamed, pushing him back with a wall of air. Not really controlling the strength I used, he flew back several feet, rolling over his shoulder. I then constructed a solid wall of air circling an area of 40ft around me, locking Legolas out.
I proceeded to pick up my weapons and started to attack one of the targets on the field. Legolas was still pleading for me to listen, but I just ignored him, like a child. It didn't take long for Haldir to show up, he probably concluded I would be here to let of some steam. But what I didn't expect was him bringing Thranduil with him.
Haldir didn't say a word. He just stood there and watched me destroy the target. I felt myself get tired, my movements got slower and more inaccurate, but I didn't want to confront Thranduil. "Visha, please. At least let me in." Haldir asked, laying a hand on my wall of air. I stopped with what I was doing, breathing heavily. Thinking about it a few seconds, I gave in. Once the wall came down, Haldir approached me cautiously, while Legolas and his father stayed at their places.
He reached out for me, but I took a quick step back. Sighting he opened his hand: "At least give me the daggers."
"Why should I? Is the entitled king afraid I might attack him?" I asked sarcastically.
"Stop it, meleth." He took a step forward, his voice now more demanding. "Give me the blades."
"No. I am not required to please your wishes and since you do not find it in your responsibilities to step up for your wife, I will not listen to you." My voice was shaky and I tried my best to conceal the fact, how angry I currently was.
"Now you are unreasonable."
"Unreasonable? ME?" I screamed. "It was not me prying on the private life of others. It wasn't me who just sat there letting my wife being picked on. Did you at least tell him he took it too far, once I left?"
The way Haldir looked to the right, told me enough. "He is the king." He tried to reason, but I didn't care: "And if he were to be God. He had no right to say the things he did. So do me a favor kiss his feet somewhere else. I will be riding home this afternoon."
Haldirs eyes shot up. "That's a two days ride. At least wait till tomorrow rises. So I can accompany you"
"I will manage to do it in one if I ride through the night." I said, turning on my heels and leaving the trainings field. "Besides yours and Legolas presence has been requested by the king of Gondor."
The three men were quick to follow me, Legolas and Thranduil keeping a respectful distance. "If I remember correctly, Lady Arwen also requested you." Haldir argued. I sighted and waited for some elves to pass us. "Her request was bound to the wedding ceremony. My task is done. I am leaving and I don't expect your homecoming in the next few days."
He grabbed me by the arm. "You will do no such foolish thing! You are my wife, you shall be safe and if that means I must force you to stay, so be it!"
I turned around ripping my arm out of his grip. "Yeah? You want to pull that game? That's a game two can play and I will make sure you lose! Nobody will command me. I was raised to live a sustainable life all by myself. And I shall do that right now!" We reached our room. The four of us stepped inside. I pulled some things out of the shelves of the wall and stuffed them in a bag, grabbing my bow and a quiver filled with arrows. Then I put on the shouldered swords every witcher was to carry with the end of their training as well as my bow. My daggers were already sheathed to my calves.
"Move!" I demanded Haldir who was blocking me from leaving.
"No."
"Alright." I turned around running for the big open balcony and took a leap down. Our room was pretty high, so when I looked back, the three elves were watching me. Slowing my fall, I landed on the ground and started to run towards the barn where Roach was currently staying. Knowing that the elves were a lot faster, than humans I had to be quick, so I threw the covering over Roaches back and told him to walk, while I saddled him. I jumped on his back pulling the bridle over his head once he already started running.
Behind me I could hear Haldir and Legolas call out for me, but my horse was already galloping down the paths of Imladris, forcing elves to jump out of my way. I passed Lord Elrond and Lindir at one of the entries. They were taking a walk with Aragon and Arwen. Surprised by my hectic departure they waved a small goodbye.
