Once upon a time, long, long ago... well, more like 20 years ago... Belle married her Beast in front of 6,000 of their closest personal friends. Big cake. Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected king of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks... basically all the really interesting people... and he booted them off to the isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. This is my place. No magic. No wi-fi. No way out. Or so I thought. Hang on, you're about to meet me and the others. But first, this happened.

*Scene opens with Prince Ben standing on a podium looking out the window while being fitted for his coronation*

He's daydreaming. He has been for the past few days. What has he been daydreaming about, you may ask? It's been about the isle, not just the isle but a girl he swears he has never met from the isle.

She has dark brown skin and a smirk that could make any boy melt. She was dressed in dark close. She looked like a dream. Well, she was, but to him, she was real. He could feel it.

He has been dreaming about her for months, every time it's a different dream, but she is always there. He is determined to meet her.

Just then, his parents walk into the room.

"My son, getting ready to be king, you're just a kid." His father said

"Hes 16 dear." Said his mother, the beautiful Belle

"16 is way too young. I didn't make a good decision til I was 42." Mr. Beast said

"You married me when you were 28." Belle said with a slight glare to her husband.

"Well, it was either you or the tea cup." Beast said, winking at his son with a smirk, obviously joking with her. Belle lightly hit his arm with an amused huff. While him parents joked around, Ben was lost in thought at what he was about to ask his father. He called for their attention while trying to step towards them before getting scolded by his tailor.

"I've chosen my first official proclamation. I've decided that the children on the isle of the lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon. Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned."

Beast and Belle look at him, shocked before Beast decides to speak.

"The children of our sworn enemies, living amongst us?" Beast asked in slight anger

"We start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most. I've already chosen them." Ben said with hope, filling him. He knew that not only doing this was right for the people but also a chance for his to meet the girl from his dreams.

"Have you?" Beast asked with his eyebrows furrowed, trying not to lose his temper.

"I gave you a second chance. Who are their parents?" Belle said, trying to be open-minded.

"Cruella De Vil... Jafar... Evil Queen... and Maleficent and Ursala." Ben said, saying the last two slowly, knowing it would cause a reaction from his dad.

"Maleficent! She is the worst villain in the land! Not to mention Ursala, a sea Witch who has done unspeakable things!" Beast yelled, angry at the suggestion.

"Dad, just hear me out here!" Ben said, trying to prove to his dad that he is making the right decision.

"I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes." Beast said, not listening to Ben and his reasons.

"Dad, their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life? Dad?" Ben said, sadness and hope filling his eyes.

"I suppose their children are innocent." Beast said with hesitation in his voice. He walked out of the room to calm himself.

Belle walked up to Ben after Beast walked out and fixed his collar

"Well, well done." Belle said, giving him a smile before following after Beast.

Ben looked out the window with a smile on his face. The chance to see her was too good to be true. He hoped he had made the right design.
