A/N: I'm sorry it took me forever to update but I was in Europe so I just got back to writing. This chapter is super short and a bit bland so I'm sorry about that but these events needed to happen, I just had a lot of trouble writing them. However, what's coming next is SUPER exciting and I promise it will be longer and much nicer to read. Thank you for all the reads/comments/votes/etc!

"Guys, seriously, don't psych yourselves out," I grinned. "You're gonna be great. Just go out there and kill it, just like you're in the basement." Tonight was the night of Pvris' first real show and Brian, Lynn and Alex couldn't be more nervous; so I had stepped in to give them a quick pep talk before the doors opened. "So many of our friends are gonna be here, along with a bunch of people none of us have ever met, how cool is that? They're all here to see the amazing music you three create, so go out there and look good so I can make cool promos!" I ended on a more humorous note, trying to get everyone to laugh away the nerves.

"Yeah guys, come on," Lynn started to smile. "We got this. After all, we booked this show!" The boys nodded in agreement but I could still tell that they were worried.

Lynn broke away from the group to go talk to Alexa, who was doing merch for tonight; leaving me to rally the boys one last time. "Brian," I turned to my brother. "As your younger sister I know I'm not supposed to say this, but you're so cool. Like you are so cool; and I know you're gonna be amazing out there. I love you, ok?"

"Love you too kid," Brian laughed, pulling me in for a hug. When Brian released me he realized that Jenn had gotten herself in early with the pass he'd given her. Thanking me for the pep talk he ruffled my hair and left for his girlfriend; leaving Alex and I alone in the corner of the venue.

Alex played with his fingers nervously and I had to resist the urge to take hold of his hand, almost forgetting that we were completely visible to not only Jenn, Lynn and Alexa, but also Brian. "You know, I actually am really nervous," his eyes lifted to meet mine and he swallowed hard.

I put my hand on Alex's shoulder, "You're gonna be amazing, you're always amazing. Alex I've seen you play a million times and it's always great. Just go out there and enjoy yourself, and remember, I'm right in front of the barricade." I gave his shoulder a squeeze. "Come on, I know you're excited."

"Yeah," he chuckled and I felt his body relax. "Do you think Brian would kill me if I went in for a hug?"

"I won't let him kill you," I smiled, opening my arms. I leaned my head on Alex's chest and gave him a tight hug. Alex rubbed my back, pressing me closer to him. "Go out there and kill it for me."

Alex and I let go of each other and Alex went to join Brian and Lynn on their walk backstage. The doors to the venue were opened and in poured friends and family of Lynn, Alex, and Brian and I; along with a small crowd of excited looking teenagers. I assumed my position in front of the barricade and readied my camera, waiting for the show to begin.

Before I knew it the lights in the venue had dimmed and there were three spotlights on the stage. Alex, Lynn, and Brian all stepped into the light and I gave them a thumbs up. "Uh hey guys," Lynn said, letting out a nervous giggle. "We're a band called Pvris and welcome to our first show. This one's called St. Patrick...we um...we hope you like it."

Alex played the opening synth to the song and I watched as all three of them went from nervous to excited in only a matter of seconds. Lynn stepped forward and started singing, her powerhouse vocals filling the tiny space we were in. Brian went into auto pilot, dancing around as he played his bass part. The beat was shaking the floor and lights were flashing all throughout the venue: making the whole experience feel like a real live music video.

I began snapping pictures of everyone, including the crowd, who seemed to be having a great time already. My camera made it's way over to Alex and he looked down at me and winked. It was great to see he had loosened up and was enjoying himself. I was so unbelievably proud of this band already. My brother, one of my now closest friends, and my boyfriend were all onstage playing their hearts out and enjoying every minute of it.

After Pvris played their final song Lynn thanked the crowd, "We'll be hanging out here for a little bit so if you liked us and you want autographs or something we could probably make that happen. Thank you for your time!"

The three of them left the stage and I ran to the backstage door to greet them as the came back into the venue. "Guys that was absolutely amazing!" I gushed as soon as the door opened. "Seriously guys that was so good, like so so good oh my god." Not caring how sweaty any of them were I pulled each of them in for hug. Breaking away and turning around I noticed a small group of teenagers standing in a crowd behind us. "I think you guys have some new fans to greet," I winked, stepping away to get a better angle for a video.

Everyone began to form a line as Lynn, Alex, and Brian signed tshirts, tickets, and random pieces of paper. Some kids got selfies and then most of the crowd was ushered out by their parents. A few of the girls stayed behind, trying to flirt with Alex and Brian. Brian quickly explained that he had a girlfriend, pointing to Jess and calling her over. "Well what about you?" the girl with a nose ring and terrible dye job stepped closer to Alex, twirling her hair.

Alex's looked at me then quickly turned away, "Uh. I'm currently single, but uh, I'm not really looking for anyone right now."

"Then who's that over there?" the girl nodded in my direction.

"That's my sister," Brian said quickly.

"We're, not, you know," Alex stumbled over his words. "Dating."

I watched as the girl pressed a piece of paper into Alex's hand. "Well I love rockstar types, so if you're ever looking for anyone," she winked, turning on her heel and finally leaving the venue.

The doors of the venue closed with a thud and we all stood there in uncomfortable silence. "That was, uh, that was weird," Alex let out an awkward laugh.

He was right, it was weird; but it was also dangerous. If people at shows assumed Alex and I were dating that would only make Brian more suspicious, and Brian was already suspicious enough. Alex and I were able to keep it up for this long, I was not about to lose him because some teen fan accidentally outed our relationship. I felt a wave of guilt wash over me as I realized we'd be seeing each other behind Brian's back for over 3 months. I never thought I would lie to Brian this long. I knew we had to tell him what was going on, but I still didn't know when the right time would come along.
