I woke up to find Niall missing. His clothes and car were gone, but he had left a note.

                        *NOTE*

Sorry, I had to leave. If you need anything, call me.

                        -Niall

He had left his number on the note too.

But why had he just left so suddenly?

I rolled out of bed and made some coffee.

While drinking my coffee, I couldn’t stop thinking about Niall and where he could possibly be. I decided to text him and to find out.

TO NIALL:

Hey, it’s liv. Where did you go?

I pressed send and waited for a response.  But after waiting several minutes, I still hadn’t gotten a response yet and I became worried. I called him and there was still no response. Maybe I was just over reacting. I’m sure he was fine or maybe he was thinking? Maybe he had gone to the field; it was his favorite thinking place. Then, I received a text. I grabbed my phone and looked at the message. It was from Brian.

            FROM BRIAN:

You might want to go check up on your little friend.

I didn’t respond, but instead hurried to my car and drove straight to the school in hopes of finding Niall. And I did just that. His bloody body lay stretched out in the middle of the field.

“Niall!” I yelled as I ran to him. He didn’t speak. I knew he was still alive because I could hear his heavy breathing.
