Summary: You hang out with Isabel, wanting to explain for canceling. Hailee finds out and isn't happy

It had been a week since Hailee told you to cancel the date with Isabel. You obediently did of course. Feeling terrible for canceling on Isabel with no reason as to why. At school she was a great friend and overall a sweet girl. You knew she didn't deserve to be treated like that.

You had decided to ask her to accompany you to a coffee shop on your college campus. Wanting to explain to her that you didn't have interest in pursuing a relationship.

Walking into the coffee shop with Isabel at your side, you greet the cashier.

"What can I get for you lovely ladies?" asks the blonde behind the counter

"I'll take a white chocolate cold brew and for Y/n.... perhaps just black coffee?" Isabel says turning to look at you

You nod back at her

"No way! You're Y/n?? Like Hailee's Y/n? i've heard so much about you! nice to finally meet you" the cashier greets, reaching out to shake your hand

You smile back, confused but shake her hand anyway

"Sorry! my name is Lily. I'm good friends with Hailee" the cashier adds on

"Nice to meet you Lily!" you respond still smiling

"I'll let you guys take a seat, your drinks should be out shortly" she says writing your name on one cup, then moving to grab the other

Once the cashier realizes she doesn't know your friends name, she speaks again

"Wait! i need your name for your drink!" she says to Isabel

"It's Isabel" she responds.

As you and Isabel turn to walk and find a table, Lily opens up her phone and texts Hailee

Finally met Y/n. You're right she is cute.

Watch it. Where'd you see her?

Relax, I think her friend is hot lol and at my job, they're both here together. I figured it out when her friend gave me her name for the drinks.

Through gritted teeth, Hailee walked out of her room, ready to find you at the coffee shop

Meanwhile you had told Isabel that you had feelings for another girl. Isabel was sweet and understanding, still wanting to be friends. Your conversation had moved from relationships to summer plans.

"There's a rave this summer, I think you'd really enjoy it. You should come! You could bring your boo thang" Isabel says giggling

"Oh i don't know if she's into that kind of stuff" you say giggling back, touching her arm across the table

Meanwhile Hailee walks into the coffee shop, seeing the interaction she speed walks to your table

"Y/n" she says forcing you to turn back and look at her
