***Narrated

The Zungu brothers were shocked and confused when the PRIDE entered the compound. They thought that they had finally brought Ndalo to her knees. While Khaya treated Mnqobi's wound, they sat in silence, deep in thoughts. How could someone, like Ndalo, take on the most powerful and notorious family in the whole of Africa? While everyone else thought about revenge, Mthoko had something else in his mind. He thought about Ndalo and how she looked so familiar. From the nose to eyes, she looked like someone he knew. Her eyes were weird and felt so dark and empty. There's no way that they could be related, so he didn't pay much attention to it.

A month had passed, and there were no signs of Ndalo and the PRIDE. While the Zungu brothers planned their revenge, Manqoba focused on his love life. He had taken Khwezi on 2 dates so far and he was falling so hard for her, to a point where he would call her at midnight just to hear her voice, which did irritate Khwezi as she loved her beauty sleep. Manqoba's beast felt so connected to her as when it was a full moon, he would transform into his beast and go to Khwezi place. The beast would watch her sleep for hours, then leave. Khwezi, on the other hand, loved spending time with Manqoba. Mnqobi did meet his twin's better half, and now Khwezi was known as 'umakoti'.

Nkunzi met up with his old friend, Muzikayise Zungu. Richard later joined them for whiskey, and they talked and laughed like the old times. Nkunzi told Muzi about the common enemy that they had who was out for revenge. They agreed to join forces in order to conquer this war as they knew that Antonio had joined forces with their old enemies. Later that day, Nkunzi drove back to his hotel. As he was about to reach for his phone, 2 bullets penetrated the window and then, through his chest and stomach. He was able to press the panic button that was under the steering wheel before he went unconscious. Ndalo was at her basement, training when her iPad rang loudly. She checked it, and it was code blue, which meant that her uncle was either under attacked or needed help. She got the location of his cat, took her gun, and then drove to the location. When she arrived there, the police and ambulance were already there. They took Nkunzi with the ambulance while Ndalo traveled behind them with her car. They arrived at the hospital, and Nkunzi was taken to ICU immediately as he had a seizure during the way to the hospital. Ndalo was furious to the point where she threw a punch at the wall, cracking it. She thought that those Zungu boys were responsible for this, but she thought again as she had remembered that Antonio wanted revenge. She felt her beast wanting to submerge, but she quickly calmed herself. Ndalo had her mind set. She wasn't going to take this lying down.

***Manqoba

Baba had called for a meeting. He was drinking whiskey and laughing with Richard when we entered the lounge. He face went straight when he saw us, and I knew that this wouldn't end nicely. We greeted them, and they didn't respond. Richard to khaya to pour us some whiskey. Khaya stood up reluctantly and poured us whiskey , and he sat down.

Baba: "So? Senimtholile?"
Me: "Not yet." He looked at me, then he drank his whiskey.
Baba: "Tell your boys to look harder. Apparently, she hasn't sold them yet." We looked at each other.
Us: "Yebo baba/Sengwayo." We said while nodding.
Richard: "But that's not the reason why we called you. Antonio is back, and he wants revenge."
Sthe: "What? I thought he was killed." Damn, I wasn't expecting this. Antonio used to be one of our trusted ally and suppliers until he sold millions from us and was involved in the death of our mother.
Baba: "This is a war that we can fight alone, so Nkunzi has joined forces with us since Antoniois working with our old enemies." That's great.
Mthoko: "That's good, Sengwayo. This means that Elihle, Anathi, and the kids have to go into hiding." Anathi was his wife, and he had 2 children. A 3 year old boy named Sbani and a 7 year old girl named Simile. We all agreed. We carried on to speak about Antonio and the market.
Baba: "Wee Manqoba, ong'tshele, umletha nini umakoti." That caught me of guard, which made me cough.
Me: "Ngizomletha." These idiots were laughing at me.
Baba: "Nina nihlekani? When are you getting married." Me and Mthoko laughed at them.
Danger: "I just hit and pass. Anginaso isikhathi somjolo."
Mthoko: "You will die young, im telling you. "
Danger: "It's not my fault that the ladies love me. Uyabona nje nawe ukuthi ngimuhle." This fool. Baba's phone rang, and he answered.

Baba: "WHAT?" He said as he stood up. After a few seconds, he hung up.
Danger: "Zikhiphan' ?"
Baba: "We have to go. Nkunzi was shot last night." They didn't ask anything but stood up, and they all walked out and drove to St Augustine Hospital where Nkunzi was admitted.

Baba: "Where is Nkunzi Ngcobo's ward." He asked the first nurse he saw.
Nurse: "He is in D3."
Me: "Is he awake, though?"
Nurse: "Yes, sir. He's with the doctor and his niece."
Richard: "Take us there." The nurse showed them to D3 where Nkunzi was. They entered his room, and they were shocked to see someone they didn't expect there. Ndalo was seated on the chair next to Nkunzi while the doctor spoke to them.

This wasn't going to end well.....
