Ndalo

Bullets were flying and hitting every object in sight. Everyone was holding their heads and on the ground. After a short while, the shooting stopped. Manqoba and Danger rushed out of the office , and I assumed that they were going to check up on the women downstairs.
Cobra: "Is everyone ok?" He asked when everyone was back on their feet. I felt some warm fluid falling down the side of my cheek.
Khaya: "You're bleeding." He said, looking at the small cut that was gushing blood on the side of my forehead. The others nodded at Mthoko and then walked out of the office. When we got downstairs, there was broken glass from the windows and bullets on the floor. We found Manqoba holding Khwezi and Danger doing the same with Phiwo, who looked shakened. Elihle rushed to Baba and held him for dear life. I picked up a bullet and analyzed it. To me, it looked so familiar due to the small logo of a fist inside a star.
Mthoko: "Is everyone ok?" The ladies nodded, still holding amadoda abo. A phone rang, and Manqoba took out his phone from his pocket.
Manqoba: "Call me later, I'm-." He said, answering the phone.
Caller:....
Manqoba: "Wait, Nomhle! What the fuck do you mean she's gone?" We looked at him. His facial expression changed. From a frown to anger.
Caller:...
Manqoba: "Fuck! I'm coming there." And he hanged up.
Richard: "Who was that?"
Manqoba: "It was Nomhle. Mpande has been kidnaped." He said, standing up and rushing to the door.
Khaya: "Wait, bafo. Let us come with you." Khaya, Mthoko, Mnqobi, Cobra, and Scissors followed Manqoba out.
Danger: "We need to go to the warehouse.  It's not safe here."
Me: "You guys can go. I need to take care of something." They left the house, excluding Thriller, and went to one of their warehouses. I stood there, staring into space and wondering who would have orchestrated this shooting.
Thriller: "The outside cameras are damaged. However, I managed to get the footage from the hidden camera." He said, sitting on the nearest chair with a laptop in his hands. I pulled a chair and sat next to him. He played the footage. From when we arrived in Manqoba's house, to unknown men wearing black and balaclavas, to the shootings, and lastly, when everyone else leaves.
Thriller: "This doesn't help us at all."
Me: "All I know is that these people were not trying to kill us. They wanted to send us a message." I sighed. Now, this was our biggest challenge as we didn't know who these people were. I stood and slid the bullet in my pocket before leaving.

At Nomhle's place

Everyone was at Nomhle's place, trying to figure out who took Mpande.
Manqoba: "What do you mean they took her? Who took her?" He asked, slightly raising his voice.
Nomhle: "Angazi Manqoba. She was sleeping in her bed, and I was in the kitchen, making her food. All of a sudden, these men with balaclavas barged in. I couldn't stop them because they were carrying guns. I was so scared." She said as she threw herself into Manqoba's arms and held him while she cried. Which obviously made Khwezi roll her eyes in annoyance. Manqoba gently pushed her off of him and paced up and down the living room.
Baba: "MakaMpande, are you sure you don't know what they look like?" Nomhle said no. Ndalo and Thriller walked in and sat down. Ndalo looked at Nomhle, analyzing her behavior. She knew that Nomhle was hiding  but didn't know what exactly. She leaned over to Thriand whispered to him.
Ndalo: "I think she's lying."
Thriller: "Who? Nomhle?"
Ndalo: "Yes. Keep an eye on her." Thriller nodded.
Khaya: "What I don't understand is that they didn't leave a note. Usually, kidnappers leave a note or message regarding a ransom."
Nkunzi: "Then we'll just have to wait."
Manqoba: "Im not waiting for my daughter to be killed." He stated, then stormed out of the apartment. Mnqobi shortly followed him.

Outside

Mnqobi stopped Manqoba from getting inside his car.
Mnqobi: "You have to calm the fuck down, bafo."
Manqoba: "Mnqobiwesizwe, suka endlelen' yam'."
Mnqobi: "Manqobisizwe, calm down. How do you expect us to find her if you're not thinking straight." Manqoba sighed and looked at his twin. He then leaned over the car
Manqoba: "Im just worried that by the time we find her, it will be too late." Mnqobi stood next to Manqoba and leaned over the car.
Mnqobi: "Sizomthola, bafo." Manqoba's phone buzzed, indicating a notification coming through his phone. He took his phone out of his pocket and looked at it. His face immediately went cold.
Mnqobi: "What's wrong?" He asked, looking at his twin, who looked like his beast wanted to come out. Mnqobi took the phone and read the message for himself.

"I'll raise her well, Ghost. And maybe I'll put her beauty into great use in the future.

Your future son-in-law
Don"

The message was accompanied by a picture of Mpande in her pink vest and nappy. Mnqobi and Manqoba rushed back inside Nomhle's apartment. Mnqobi gave Baba Manqoba's phone, who then passed the phone around the room. Nomhle burst into tears while Manqoba clenched his jaw at the thought of his little princess being raised as someone's wife and potentially a sex worker. That thought killed him.
Ndalo: "Sitting here is useless. The more we wait, the harder it will be to find her." She said, then walked out. Thriller followed her.

The walls were crashing down on Manqoba?? Will he handle pressure?
