When Manqoba asked me to help him with his proposal, I was so excited. I couldn't believe that my bestie would be someone's fiancee, just like how we dreamt of when we were 16. It's was the next day, 7:30, to be specific, and I woke up with Sphe's arms wrapped around me. We have been sharing a bed since he had complained that his bed was too cold or he couldn't sleep at night, which was simply an excuse. I gently removed his arm from my waist, which obviously woke him up.
Danger: "Uyaphi?" He said while his eyes were closed and  in a very low deep voice, which made me feel a type of way.
Me: I'm going to take a shower. I don't want to be late for work. Again." Which fell onto deaf ears as he grabbed me back into bed, covered me with the duvet, and wrapped his arms around me. Again.
Danger: "Ngeke bak'xoshe." He said as his hand cupped my breast, then fell asleep. I tried to remove his hand but failed dismally.
Me: "I think you need a girlfriend or a wife." I whispered.
Danger: "I already have a wife." Oh, he heard me.
Me: "Who?"
Danger: "You." Hebana. And just like that, he pulled me closer to him. I sighed, then turned to face him.
Me: "But we're not dating Sphe."
Danger: "Yes, we're not, but we're getting married." Kanjani manje?
Me: "I dont even know if you like me like that?" He opened his gorgeous eyes.
Danger: "You're right. I don't like you, Phiwokuhle. I love you. I love you because you bring light and peace into my life every day. Your laughter, your smile, and your warmth make my heart feel full. I can't imagine a life without you in my arms every single day, so, MaMkhize, would you please be mine forever?" God, what a mouthful. I was too speechless to even reply. I looked at him and gave him a nod, which made him smile. He gave me a peak, closed his eyes, and fell asleep. Again. I stared at him, thinking how could a man like him would love someone like me. Broken with many baggages. I guessed my mother was wrong. Growing up, she would tell me that no one would love me due to the fact that my sperm donor left us, which she also blamed me for. But why did everything feel too good to be true? Maybe I should my therapist again...

I woke up, and Sphe was nowhere to be found. However, I did find a single rose that had a note on his side of the bed.

'Went to work. Your food is in the oven.
I love you'

How thoughtful of him. I got out of bed, fixed the bed, and then took a long shower. After I was done with my hygiene process, I got dressed in my grey track pants and Sphe's black t-shirt. I went downstairs, and the house was spotless, so I assumed that the cleaning company had arrived while I was still asleep. I opened the oven and found a plate of sausages, a tomato slice, scrambled eggs, and 2 pieces of toast, so I warmed it up and poured some orange juice for myself. I sat down and ate, and after I was done, the time was 10:15. I had nothing else to do, so I decided to treat myself with some shopping. I went back upstairs and changed into my denim jeans, a white top, my red LV sneakers, and a red LV 'varsity' jacket, and I took my black LV crossbody bag. I took a picture and sent it to Sphe. After a few seconds, a whatsapp notification came through from Zungu☺️.

I took the keys to his black BMW x6 and went to the garage. I got in the car and drove away. While I was driving to Gateway, I received a notification from FNB. I took my phone and checked it.

"FNB PAYMENT NOTIFICATION: ZAR500000 FROM MR S.D ZUNGU TO MS P.C.T MKHIZE 085.... REF. FROM INDODA YAKHO"

TF??!!! Who on earth would randomly send me R500 000? I immediately called Sphe. After the second ring, he answered.
Danger: "Mama."
Me: "Zungu, someone sent me half a million rand, and I don't know who it is." I was literally panicking.
Danger: "It was me."
Me: "What if my account was hacked and..wait, what?"
Danger: "It was me, baby. I went with my card, and i didn't know that you were planning on going shopping."
Me: "Oh. But I don't need to buy clothes worth R500 000."
Danger: "Well, you better use all of it.." I chuckled.
Me: "Ok, Zungu."
Danger: "Buy me something nice." I laughed.
Me: "Something like what?"
Danger: "Surprise me."
Me: "Ok, let me go."
Danger: "Ok, baby. Love you." And he hanged up. Oh-kay. Anyway, I drove to Oceans Mall in Umhlanga and had the time of my life. I went to Gucci. Dolce & Gabbana. YSL, etc and bought clothes, shoes, jewelry, perfumes, and even lingeries. I also bought Sphe a few items. I decided to do my nails and hair, which I opted for small medium braids, which made me look soooo beautiful. When i was finally done with everything, which was around 3 pm, I went back to the car and placed the bags in the boot. Sphe had sent me the location pin, so i copied the link to Google Maps and drove to Manzini Private Hospital. When I arrived, I walked in and went to the receptionist who was busy reading her magazine.
I cleared my throat, and she looked at me in annoyance and then continued reading. She better not test me!

Me: "Hi, may you please direct me to Dr Zungu's office."
Receptionist: "Do you have an appointment?" She asked without looking at me.
Me: "No, but.."
Receptionist: "Then you can't go." She said as she interrupted me. I chuckled in anger, then took out my phone and called Sphe. As soon as he answered, I put the call on loudspeaker.
Danger: "Baby?"
Me: "Your receptionist is acting bitchy towards me and she's rude. Why is she working here?" I asked, staring at her. She quickly placed the magazine down.
Danger: "I'll talk to her. Let me come down there." He hanged up. I folded my arms and looked at her. She swallowed hard and looked very nervous. After a few minutes, Sphe came, wearing dark blue scrubs which showed off some of his tattoos, and I must say, he looked FINEEE!! He walked towards me, grabbed me by the neck, and gave me a kiss. Luckily, there wasn't anyone looking, well, instead of Ms bitchy attitude. He pulled out and placed a few documents on the table.
Danger: "Transfer all my patients to Dr Naidoo." She looked kinda looked hurt, and then she nodded. Sphe took my hand, and we went to his office. This place was very gorgeous. The touch of blue made it very elegant and peaceful.
Me: "This hospital is beautiful." I said as we entered his office.
Danger: "Ng'yabonga mama." He said as he sat down on his chair. As I was about to sit opposite to him, he frowned.
Me: "What?"
Danger: "Come around the table." I stood up and walked to his side, then stood in front of him. He pulled my hand towards him and made me sit on his lap.
Danger: "What did you buy for me?"
Me: "It's a surprise, Zungu. You'll get it at home. " He raised his eyebrow.
Danger: "Then let's go home." I laughed.
Me: "But baby, I'm hungry." I whined, then wrapped my arms around his neck. His smile grew wider.
Me: "What?"
Danger: "Ngiyak'thanda Kuhle." I blushed.
Me: "Nami ngiyak'thanda Sengwayo."
Danger: "Let's go home." I nodded, then got off his lap. He stood up and grabbed his things, and then we walked out of his office while holding hands. The nasty stares I got from the nurses didn't faze me. As soon as we went out of the hospital, he led me to his car.
Me: "I came with the x6." I said, pointing to the car.
Danger: "I'll get someone to bring it." I nodded my head and got inside his car. He was driving his maroon Maserati Granturismo (Yes, I know a little about cars). He got in and passed through Domino's Pizza and got pizzas for dinner, then we drove home.
