Continuation of chapter 46..

Ndalo

I opened my eyes and realized that I was alone in the bed. I got off the bed in anger as I remembered last night's events.
Me: "How could you be so stupid? Really? Fucking the man you were supposed to kill, nx." I said to myself as I wore my underwear and his shirt only. I opened the door and followed the smell of bacon, which was coming from downstairs. I walked out and went down the stairs, tip toeing so that he doesn't hear the sound of my footsteps. He was standing over the stove, probably frying bacon while listening to some soft jazz. Good, he won't hear me. My eyes went on the knife that was on the counter. Perfect weapon. I slowly went towards it and picked it up, trying to be as quiet as possible. I held it properly, positioning it in a way that will be easy when I stab him with it. I slowly creeped up to him, ready to charge.
Mxolisi: "So, you still want to kill me?" He asked, not looking at me. Fuck! How did he know that I was behind him with a knife. He turned around, folded his arms and leaned on the stove. Damn, he looked hot. I didn't realize that he had tattoos. The one that caught my eye was the wolf on his right chest. Something about it was mesmerizing and enchanting. It suited him. I looked at him and realized that if I didn't kill him now, I won't kill him at all. Without thinking, I charged at him with the knife, aiming at his heart. He quickly grabbed my hand, twisted it so that the knife could fall on the floor, and roughly pinned me against the fridge. He smirked.
Mxolisi: "You have to be a little faster than that. By the way, my shirt looks good on you."
Me: "Get off of me, you asshole." I said as I tried to wiggle myself out of his hold, but he tightened his grip on my hand.
Mxolisi: "Im now an asshole? Yet you were screaming my name last night. " I wished I could swipe that smirk he had with a punch.
Me: "And that was the first and the last time." He released me from his hold.
Mxolisi: "We'll see about that." He walked away from me and went to plate up breakfast. When he was done, he handed me a plate that had two pieces of toast and a delicious looking omelet, and a glass of what looked like orange juice. I accepted it and followed him to the dining table. We sat down and ate in silence and I must say, the food was very delicious. While we were eating, I kept looking at him, as I had so many unanswered questions racing in mind.
Mxolisi: "Ask." Did he hear me?
Me: "What?" I asked, very taken back.
Mxolisi: "You keep looking at me, so is there something you want me to ask?"
Me: "No.. actually, yes. How did you know I was behind you?"
Mxolisi: "Your scent gave it away."
Me: "Why do you live in the middle of nowhere?"
Mxolisi: "It's peaceful."
Me: "What do you do for a living?"
Mxolisi: "Businessman, assassin, thief. The list goes on." At least he was honest. He stood and went to the kitchen with our dishes. While he was in the kitchen, I went back upstairs and fetched all things, then went back downstairs.
Me: "Im leaving."
Mxolisi: "Well, that's unfortunate. I was hoping to fuck you all day." He said and I could tell that he was being sarcastic. Mxm, idiot.
Me: "Whatever." I said, rolling my eyes. I walked towards the door, and before I could leave, he spoke.
Mxolisi: "Don't be a stranger now, and tell Thriller to stop fishing for information about me. He won't find anything." He winked and disappeared to the living room.
Me: "What the fuck?" I whispered. How did he know?

God, this man is dangerous!

After taking a shower, i came back downstairs and threw myself on the couch. As I was about to close my eyes, this idiot barged in.
Manelisi: "Love of my life." He said and threw himself on top of me.
Me: "Get off of me, man. And why do you smell like blood?" He got off of me.
Manelisi: "I had some deer blood before i came here. " He said, then sat next to me, then he frowned.
Me: "What?"
Manelisi: "Who is she?"
Me: "Ubani?"
Manelisi: "You had a woman here. I can smell her scent from over 100 miles from here." Of course, he can.
Me: "Oh, you mean my chosen one?"
Manelisi: "Haibo? You found her?"
Me: "More like she found me."
Manelisi: "Wait, how do you that it's her?" I sighed.
Me: "Remember when I told you I went out for a walk that night." He nodded.
Manelisi: I knew you were lying to me. Where did you go?"
Me: "I went to her in my wolf form, and I marked her." He looked at with a shocked facial expression.
Manelisi: "Are you sure that was her?"
Me: "Yes, Mane. I saw the marks on the arm when I was fucking her. " He stood up in shock.
Manelisi: "You fucked her? Damn you crazy."
Me: "Well, actually, she came here to kill me."
Manelisi: "Ok, now im confused. "
Me: "She came here holding a gun and aimed it at me. I told to shoot but she didn't so I fucked her." Manelisi kept quiet and just looked at me.
Manelisi: "You're messed up, my love."
Me: "Thank you." I said while smirking.
Manelisi: "Ayy, let me go feed myself. " He said, standing up. I followed him to the kitchen and sat on the barstool, watching him make a sandwich.
Manelisi: "So, what's her name?"
Me: "Ndalolwenkosi Sbanisomanzini Zungu. She's related to those Zungu shitheads." He chuckled.
Manelisi: "You still don't like them?"
Me: "Im only civil with them because of dad. Other than that, I would have drank their blood a long time ago."

Let me introduce myself (present tense):

Manelisi had left hours ago, so I decided to call Ndalo. It rang for a while before she answered it.
Ndalo: "What?" I expected her to answer her phone like that.
Me: "Mi amor."
Ndalo: "Don't call me that, and how did you get my number?"
Me: "The same way you got my address." I could sense that she had rolled her eyes.
Ndalo: "What do you want, Mxolisi?"
Me: "You."
Ndalo: "No, I'm busy."
Me: "Not really. You're seated in your office, typing an email to Matteo." She kept quiet for a moment.
Ndalo: "Are you spying on me? Did you put any hidden cameras in my house?" I laughed.
Me: "Not at all, mi amor. I just sensed it. I'll come see you at midnight, don't sleep." I said, then hanged up.

Ndalo, Ndalo, Ndalo...my feisty woman...
