Grayson lupin-1st year

I'm not a kind person.i have always been closed off and distant.the only person that I trust with information about me is my brother.my brothers perfect.in my mind my brother could do no wrong.

Are dad lyall lupin treats him like an abomination.are dad hates werewolves and his oldest son got bit by one.now every full moon Remus goes out to that shack near the willow and stays in there until it's over.

They call it the shrieking shack.it hurts hearing them call it that knowing that it's not a ghost yelling it's my older brother.

I'm rude,self centered and honesty a bully.being raised the way that I was.my parents constantly putting us down.telling us we weren't worth a breath. Are parents believed we were a waste of space. Being around that at such a young age takes a toll.

That doesn't mean I don't have a heart.it doesn't mean that I can't be nice,funny or sad.its just harder for people to get into my shell.i turn 12 in 2 weeks,the only person who knows is Remus.

I can tell he's gonna make it a big deal,he's gonna do something stupid.hes going to embarrass me and I know it.my roommates are gonna figure it out when remus does the stupid thing.

I wake up at 7am.i turn around and I see Barty sitting on his bed with a binder over his legs.

"What are you doing"I ask rubbing my eyes. He turns towards me, "I'm doing my favorite thing,looking at pictures of me"he says looking at me. "Wanna see?"he asks."um I guess" I say getting of my bed and walking past regulus's bed and I sit on Bartys bed.i scoot next to him and look at the photos of him when he was younger

"Is this really your favorite thing to do or are you just being arrogant"I ask him. "Well I do love me but my favorite thing is probably chocolate ice cream"he say,I laugh.

He's cute for a boy.boys don't find other boys cute tho it's like a rule our something,boys can only find girls cute.

"Classes start at 8 we should get ready" I say. "I'm gonna wake regulus,you wake Evan" I tell Barty.

I walk over the regulus's bed.i grab his shoulder and shake him awake. "What" he says. "It's 7:15 it's time to wake up" I tell him,he jumps up. "Why are you just now waking me up"he asks. "Don't yell at me for your horrible time management,I was looking at Bartys baby pictures with him"I answered.hes looking at me like I just told him the queen died.

I go to my bed at get my clothes out,black jeans with a white dress shirt,with a Slytherin sweater over it.it looks nice,I grab the under eyeliner I stole from my mom's makeup bag.i look good in under eyeliner,I got told I look like I'm in a rock band l,I took it as a compliment.all of us get changed and head to the common room.

We all had potions first.i heard slughorn was ok,I haven't heard any complaints. We all have that class together,so we all said we're gonna sit together.we walk into the room,it's a blue and green color,it's nice there.i see the professor in the front of the class waiting for everyone to enter.

Us 4 go and sit at a table on the left of the class.theres four seats at this table so we all can sit together.professer slughorn is going over protective potions.

"Reggie do you have a quill" I ask regulus. He looks at me like I committed 5 counts of second degree murder. "Yes,but don't ever call me that again"he says hitting me in the shoulder. Remus and "the marauders" are in this class.they call themselves that for some reason.

"Your brother looks like he bites" I admit to regulus. "He does"he answers.

Oh Sirius black the biter

The class ends and Remus comes up to me. "Hey gray how's Slytherin treating you"he asked. "It's fun,I'm enjoying it,I like the people I hang out with,this morning I sat on Bartys bed and looked at pictures of him"I told Remus.

Remus laughed,and placed a hand on my shoulder."if you need anything then ask,ok?" He tells me. "Ok moony" I wave good by and catch up with regulus.

Me and Regulus have history of magic now,with binns.i follow regulus to the class,he knows the halls better then I do.remus has defense against the dark arts,so we're not together this class.

Me and Regulus sit in the back of the class so that we can throw paper balls at random unexpected kids.

We take a seat, "Reggie I'm gonna make a crane" I told him as I turned a piece of paper into a crane. "I told you to stop calling me that"he groaned. "Stop complaining,look"I threw the crane at this kid with black long hair.

He turned around and looks straight at me. "Lupin,what was that for"he asks. I panic " um it wasn't me"I lied. "Your exactly like your brother"he turned back around. "What was that supposed to mean?" I yell. "Arrogant and annoying" he answers.

I stand up ready to kill this kid with my bare hands.regulus grabs my wrist and pulls me back to me seat. "He's not worth a detention"he sighed. I threw a few balls of paper at him.

I throw a dart looking paper at him and the teacher sees.

"Mr lupin, detention"he tells me.

"Damn it" I roll my eyes. "You and your brother love getting detention,I have given Remus lupin so many detentions that I can't even count them anymore."mr binns says.

The class ends and we head to the dinning hall for lunch.we meet up with Evan and Barty at the table. "I'm gonna go see my brother for a second I'll be back" I told them walking to the Gryffindor table.

"Hey moony" I say as I sit next to Remus. "Hey gray,what's up"he asks. "I got detention tonight"I admit. "How do you already have detention,it's the first day?"he asks with a concerned tone.

I point over to the Slytherin table,to the black haired boy "I was throwing paper at him" Remus laughs alittle to hard. "Sirius my brother just got detention for throw paper balls at snivellus" Sirius starts laughing to. James chokes on a piece of apple "he really is your brother Remus". "I have to go". I say hugging Remus and leaving.
