Grayson lupin-1st year
It wasn't what I expected.its was calmer,but I got the point.it was a letter,from my parents
Grayson-
Don't come home,your not welcome
-hope lupin and lyall lupin
It's not a surprise but it still hurt.im only 11 almost 12. What am I going to do,I can't live at the castle.
When I got the letter me and Regulus read the 1 sentence letter together.i think he was just curious but it felt better reading it with someone there.
"Um-should we get Remus" he asks. It hurts.they couldn't Even make it a two sentence letter.they didn't take the time
They didn't care
I stand up with the letter in my hand and follow regulus to the Gryffindor tower.he says the password and we walk in.
Remus is sat down in a chair with a random book in his hands.he looks up at us with a smile.
I love his smile.he has white and straight teeth.he is perfect.
He sees the frown on me and Reggies face and walks over. "What's wrong?" He asks and regulus gives him the letter.
I watch his face drain,his face is unreadable.i can tell he read the sentence more than once.he changes his face to a calmer 'its gonna be ok' kind of look.
"When did you get this?".
"Um-it just came in,what am I going to do?"I ask him concern and hope filling my voice.
"Sit here you both,stay there while I try and figure this out"he tells us pointing to the seats Infront of us.
Me and Regulus go and sit in the chairs.
It's silent.
Until
"So I'm like an orphan now,right?" I ask Regulus.
"Not really,but if they disown you then you would be an orphan"he reassures me.
"Do you think they will..disown me?"we stare into each other's eyes. "No Grayson,I don't think they will disown you" he half smiles,it's like he's trying to to but something stopped him
We sit there for what feels like hours, talking,it was only 20 minutes tho.
Remus comes running into the common room.hes smiling
He's done it.he has done something
"We called mom,she does not want you back home,but we did also call someone else's mom and she would love to welcome you to hers"he holds back the name of who I will be staying with for suspense I can tell.
"Who?"I ask
"James mother"he says smiling more.
James mother wants me to stay with her family.i barely know James,I haven't had a conversation with him or anything.
I smile at Remus
I'm scared I'm really scared,what if they change their mind and I have to live on the streets.
"Am I disowned?" I ask Remus,I glance back at regulus.
"I- I don't know,but let's worry about you meeting,the fantastic ms Potter and Mr Potter"he tells me putting his hand on my shoulder then taking it off.
"Wait,when will I be meeting her?"I ask.
"She's going to be coming over to tell Minnie about your situation,so when she comes over Tommarow"he confess.

Oh
It's real when I meet her.when Mrs Potter arrives tomorrow,this all will be real and not a dream.right now,this is all fake.but when she arrives to this Castle,I will be officially not able to go to my birth home.
How can you throw away a child like that you raise the kid then something bad happens so you throw him away?it's not even the fact that I'm gonna have to be in a strangers house that scares me,it's the fact that my brother is going to be all alone in a house,that both of us together were barely surviving in.
I'm gonna have to leave him there.when remus comes back to school he's gonna say all the new scars on his body are from being a werewolf,and his friends are gonna believe it.im gonna have to sit there, knowing that he's lieing.
And I can't do anything about it.
He's gonna die in that house by staying or he's gonna die by leaving.
Regulus grabs my arm carefully pulling me from my mind. "We should get going Grayson"he says to me.
"Yea-im sorry-lets go"I apologize walking behind Reggie,I wave bye to Remus.
We walk to the Slytherin common room and Barty and Evan are there.
"You guys are late" Barty tells us. "sorry"I apologize and sit down with the 2 boys, Regulus sits next to me.
"Ok so we have to practice levitating each other so that we know how to do it when we start levitating other people"Evan says.
We continue levitating books to make sure we got it before we start levitating each other.we walk to our dorm.
"Ok only Grayson can levitate me because he's the better of you 3" regulus says,his arms crossed.i nodd in response to regulus.
"Ok I'll go first, remember only Grayson,and Grayson don't kill me"he says,he sounds completely serious (no I'm regulus). He stands on the bed.
"So like do I just stand her and wait for my death to come to me"regulus asks. "Calm down Reggie,Wingardium Leviosa"I say.
Regulus slowly floats up,the look on his face was genuine fear and concern.
"Oh my God,ok,put me down"he says.i let him down and he falls on his head,on the bed of course.
"Ow you cunt"he yells. We all laugh,regulus looks like he wants to spit on us.
Regulus after complaining alittle bit more,manages to levitate me.i understand why regulus was scared,it's terrifying.he drops me on my head on purpose because he's an ass. Evan and Barty levitate each other.they had more difficulty,Barty says it because of "Evans fat ass". regulus hit him in the back of the head extra hard for his language.
They all had managed to levitate each other.
Hogwarts doesn't know what is coming.
