Grayson lupin-1st year
The rest of the day went by quick,since it's the first day we just went over how the rest of this year is gonna be.
i have to go to detention is Mr binns class today tho
"Reggie,tell Evan and Barty I'm in detention,in Mr binns class" I tell him walking to the class. He nodded and walks to the dormitory.
I enter the class,the marauders are here,what did they do this time. "Remus what did you do this time"I sighed.
"Oh hey,we levitated a few kids"Remus says." Oh that's,well"I smile. The detention was boring they made us clean the desks and the floors,I had to throw away my paper crane.
"Bye moony I'll see you tomorrow" I say waving good bye to remus.i walk up the stairs to the dorm.i enter and I see Barty showing Evan his baby pictures.
He really does love himself
Regulus is sitting on his bed with a black notebook in his hands.he looks like he's thinking of the right words to put on the page.so it's not a diary,for a diary you don't really have to think about what you're placing on the paper.
I walk over to him. "What are you doing Reggie?"I ask,he rolls his eyes at the nickname. "Nothing,how was detention?"he asks. "Eh it was ok I had to throw away my paper crane, heartbreaking"I tell him.
"I have an idea"I say and the 2 boys on Bartys bed look over.regulus looks up from his notebook. "We should levitate some kids,my brother did it,he's not expelled,it seems fun"I say,not really thinking about anything coming out of my mouth.
"You want to go in the halls.and just levitate random kids"Evan says.i nodd my head. "We have to learn the spell first"regulus says,he closed his notebook and put his quill away.
"I can ask my brother to teach us"I say. Regulus looks a little reluctant. "Hmm I guess,when can he teach us"Barty asks,closing his binder.
"Let's just walk over there"I say.regulus looks like he's questioning why he agreed to this. "Come on"I say,all three follow me out the dorm.we walk up the Gryffindor stairs.
"Wait we don't know the pass word" I say.but just in time a prefect is walking up. "Hello what are you guys doing here"he asks. "Were here to see my brother but I don't know the password,it's important "I say.
"Who's your brother?"he asks. "Remus lupin"I confess.he smiles at me and says the password and let's us in.i see Remus and his 3 friends sitting in chairs.
"Moony" I say Walking to him.sirius and Reggie make eye contact l,regulus nods at Sirius then looks back at me. "Soo moony we need you to teach us levitation"I tell him. He smiles but looks confused.
"Why?"Remus is smart he knows that I don't want to just know the levitation spell. "Can you please teach us"I say with no explanation. "Of course" he says waving us over to another area of the common room.
He puts a book on the table and says "Wingardium Leviosa" the book starts floating in the air.
After an hour all four of us have mastered the floating charm.regulus attualy smiled while doing this.we walked out of the room,knowing that we are gonna try and float people.
We make it to the dorm. "Tommarow we have to practice levitating each other"I say dramatically falling on the floor,Barty falls next to me.
"I'm not letting you guys levitate me"regulus says. "Come on Reggie,we will levitate you over your bed so you don't,you know,die"I say
"What if you guys end up killing me while I'm floating over the bed"he say,I can tell he has major trust issues. "Don't worry reg,we will be careful with you"Barty says. Regulus looks annoyed but doesn't correct the nickname.
"Fine"he says,opening his black notebook and continuing what he was writing earlier.i got to my trunk and pull out black sweatpants and a black tee shirt,with green embroidery that says "Slytherin" on it.
I take a shower and get changed into the clothes.im about to walk out but I hear "ring ring" by abba come on.i walk out and see Reggie turn it on.i smile,and sit on my bed.
"Reggie where did you get that notebook from it's nice"I say. "Oh um,my mom bought it so I don't know" he says. "What do you write in it?" I ask. He looks at me "don't tell anyone but"he waves his hand for me to sit next to him.he whispers it in my ear "poetry"he says.he sounds self conscious about it.
"Oh that's nice sometimes I read,you know"I don't say poetry so the boys across the room don't hear.he smiles.he looks calm and at comfort,he doesn't look uncomfortable to be in a room with three strangers anymore.his face doesn't show it but his body language does.
"I have a diary,where I write down all the bad things that happened during the day,the on the piece of paper next to it I write all the good things."I say
"Oh that's smart"he admits closing his book and placing it in the drawer next to his bed.the two boys across the room are snoring.regulus and me turn of the lights.
"Good night Reggie"I say
"Good night Grayson"he answers.
I hop in my bed and fall into a peaceful sleep.
I haven't heard from my parents yet about the Slytherin thing.but any day now I'll get a howler or something.
My parents are bad people,they probably won't let me come back home,they have a werewolf son and Slytherin son.
The two disappointments of the family.
