Billie p.o.v

I sigh as I pick Kaia up and walk into the adoption center as soon as I walk in there I see the lady that came to my door

Grace: hello Billie thank for agreeing to do this and hello Kaia it's nice to meet you I'm grace

Kaia: hi

She says shyly and hides her face in my neck while the lady smiled weakly

Grace: come right this away

She takes us down a hallway where there are multiple rooms with children's last names on them

We stop at the door that said Kaia's last name and the lady looks at me

Grace: okay her parents are right behind this door there are cameras in there and there is security outside of the door

I look over and see security guards standing at each door I sigh and set Kaia down and bend down to her level

Billie: baby your gonna meet your mommy and daddy okay

Kaia: but your mommy

She says looking confused I sigh and pull her in for a hug

Billie: I know I'm your mommy but your gonna meet your other mommy okay

I say trying to make it less confusing for her she nodded her head

Billie: I'll be right outside the door waiting for you okay I'm not leaving you and I'm not going anywhere

Kaia: okay mommy

Grace: you ready Kaia

Kaia: yes

Grace takes her hand and walks inside the room and sit down and anxiously wait

Kaia's p.o.v

I enter the room with the lady and see two people sitting down at a table

The lady takes me over to the table and I sit down

Grace: I'll be right outside Kaia okay if you feel uncomfortable just push this button and I'll come back in the room in grab you okay

She says and hands me a button then walks out of the room closing the door behind her

Bio mom: hello baby you look so beautiful can I give you a hug

I slowly nodded my head and the lady got up and pulled me in for a hug then she started crying

Bio mom: I didn't wanna leave you Kaia trust me I didn't but I didn't have a choice

I didn't understand what she was talking about but I just hugged her since I didn't want her to be sad

She smiles weakly and pulls away from the hug and looks over at the man

Bio mom: that's your dad sweetheart

Bio dad: hi

I just waved at him and he smiled at me then came over to me and the lady

Bio dad: how old are you now

Kaia: I'm three

I say happily and they smile at me then the man takes my hand holding it in his

Bio dad: I know your too young to understand what's going on but when you get a little older we will tell you more about why your not with us

Bio mom: oh and I wanted to give this you I was gonna wait until you got a little older but I'm gonna give it to you now

She says and hands me a necklace then puts it on me

I look down at the necklace I realized it said my name and birthday carved into it

Bio dad: I'm sorry for what happened all those years ago but just know we love you so much Kaia more than you'll ever know

I looked up at them and hugged them both tightly not wanting to let go

I don't know how I ended up in foster care and I never seen my I guess real parents until now they feeling was warm

Bio mom: why don't you show us what toys you wanna play with and we will play with you

Kaia: okay

I show them the toys I like and they play with me while I giggled and have fun with them

After 20 minutes the lady comes back in the room

Grace: hi Kaia looks like you having fun but it's time to go now dear

I felt tears in my eyes and I ran back over to my parents I didn't wanna leave them

Bio mom: it's okay sweetheart you'll see us soon okay we love you so much

Kaia: me love you too

They smile at me and then I let go of them and the lady takes me back outside the room and I see mommy

I run up to her and she picks me up I hold onto her tightly and she walks out of the building back to the car and sits in the front seat with me

I started crying and held onto her tightly not wanting to let go I was sad about my parents

Mommy didn't say anything but just held me and kissed my head

After a couple of minutes I calm down and tugged on her shirt

Kaia: mommy me have milky please

Billie: of course baby

She lays me arcoss her lap and pulls her shirt up then pulls her bra up then I latch on and place my hand on her boob

I close my eyes as I felt content in her arms she sighs and warps her arms around me

Billie: I love you Kaia

She says and I reach my other hand towards her face then touch her cheek

She smiled and kissed my hand making me giggle she chuckled then kissed my whole face making me giggle and unlatch

Billie: here finish eating love I'm sorry

She says and latches me back on I sigh and started feeding again while mommy held me close to her
