~Ten years later~

Kaia's p.o.v

I smiled as I put my makeup on blending in my foundation once I was done I put my mascara on and some chapstick

After I was done I grabbed my curling iron and curled my hair in the middle of me curling my hair I heard a knock on my door

Kaia: come in

I say loudly enough and the door opened revealing my sister mila she smiled and sat down on my bed watching me curl my hair

Mila: hey sissy happy birthday

Kaia: thanks sis

Mila: can you help me my braid my hair please

Kaia: of course mila give me one second

I say and she nodded and I finished curling my hair then I sat mila down in my chair with my vanity grabbing a hair brush and began brushing her hair

Mila: Kaia

Kaia: yes mila

Mila: how old are you now

Kaia: I'm 13 now

Mila: wow that's older than me how much longer until I'm 13

Kaia: well your eight years old now so you have a couple of years before your 13 but you'll get there and I'm all done what do you think

I say and she looks up into the mirror smiling as she saw her two braids in her long brunette hair

Mila: I love them so much thank you sissy

Kaia: your welcome mila

I say and kissed her head then my mom walked into my room

Billie: you ready to get going love

Kaia: yes I'm ready mom I'm coming come on Mila

I say and grabbed my bag then we all walked downstairs to the car for my birthday I wanted to have dinner with my family at my favorite restaurant

Once we got there we walked inside and I saw my grandparents along with my uncle finneas and Claudia and my little cousin ember

" happy birthday Kaia"

They all said I chuckled and thanked them giving each of them a hug then sat down at the table mila making sure she was sitting right next to me while my two younger sisters sat next to mama

Finneas: so Kaia I heard your really into art right now

Kaia: yes I love painting at the moment and drawing

Finneas: can I see some of the paintings and drawings you made

Kaia: yes I can show you

I say and took my phone out showing my ginger haired uncle some of my drawings and paintings I did over the years

Finneas: wow you are really talented in art Kaia you'll be an amazing artist someday I know it

Kaia: thank you uncle finneas

I say smiling at his compliment then grandma turned around showing me a picture on her phone of me when I was little

Maggie: Kaia i just can't believe how big you have gotten I remember when you were just a tiny little blonde toddler and just running around with your sisters

Kaia: yeah I told you I can't stay little forever grandma

Maggie: I know it just kinda breaks my heart I wanted your mom and your uncle to stay little forever too but they grew up because that's part of life and I can't wait to see what you will become
