I tensed up a bit as those words left from my bother's mouth I looked up at him waiting for him to finish his sentence

Finneas: Billie I got a call from Danny this morning

Billie: what did he say

Finneas: it's about Kaia he uhm got a call from the adoption center

Billie: spit it out already finneas

I say getting frustrated from how tense I was and gripped the sides of the couch

Finneas: her biological parents want her back to live with them in Europe permanently

Billie: what why didn't the adoption center call me first about it

Finneas: they called Danny so we could discuss this first

Billie: there's nothing to discuss she's not going with them

Finneas: Billie they already m-

Billie: I'm leaving

I say cutting him off getting up and grabbing my things before walking out of the door

Finneas: Billie Billie where are you going stop

I ingored his calls and continued walking out of the door i got in my car and pulled out of the driveway before driving off

I grabbed my phone and acelyn putting her on speaker

Acelyn: hi lovely you done already it's only been a couple of minutes

Billie: I need you to take the girls to my parents house right now and meet me at the adoption center

Acelyn: what why what's going on

Billie: don't ask any questions right now just drop the girls off at my parents house right now and meet me at the adoption center

Acelyn: okay I'll go right now I love you

Billie: I love you too

I say and hang up the phone and drove to the adoption center and sped inside the building once I arrived there

I walked in there and saw Kaia's parents talking to Kaia's social worker anger filled my whole body

Billie: hey what the hell are you doing huh

I say walking up to them the social worker looked shocked to see me

Social worker: why hello Billie I've seen you heard the news Kaia is going back with her biological parents

Billie: yeah I heard why didn't you call me first she's my daughter

Kaia's mother: no she's my daughter I gave birth to her and she didn't call you because we requested to do this way instead

Billie: that's not how that works lady you don't get to just aboned Kaia at the adoption center and then come back years later and try to take her back

Kaia's father: we didn't abandon her when my wife was pregnant with Kaia we were homeless and couldn't take care of her we had no other choice but leave her there so she would be taken care of properly we can take care of her now

Billie: no she's not going back with you she barely knows you two

Kaia's mother: I know but we can bond with her

Billie: she's not going with you anywhere

I yelled suddenly acelyn came into the building and ran over to me holding me back

Social worker: I'm sorry Billie but they already signed off on it Kaia is going back to Europe with them permanently

Acelyn: don't we have a say in this

Social worker: unfortunately no I'm so sorry an agent will go and pick Kaia up and she'll go with her parents

Billie: NO YOUR NOT TAKING HER

I yelled and ran out of the building and got into my car acelyn yelling behind me but I didn't care all I could see was Kaia my baby

I started my car and started speeding to my childhood home quickly as I could

Kaia: no mila hold it like this see and blow

I say holding the bubble wand for my sister as she blew and made a bubble she giggled and clapped her hands

Mila: again pwease

Kaia: okay sissy hold on

I dipped the bubble stick into the bubble mixture but stopped once I noticed a strange man coming into the backyard with a suit on and a name tag

Jake: hello sweetheart my name is Jake you gotta come with me okay

Kaia: no I don't know you

I say backing up pushing mila behind me the man smiled weakly and walked towards me

Kaia: GRANDMA POPPA HELP

I screamed grandma and poppa came to the backyard seeing the man but the man grabbed me and mila fell behind me and started crying loudly

I tried to get out of his grip but he held onto me tighter I cried trying to get down from him

Suddenly mommy and mama came in the backyard too

Billie: let go of her your hurting her

Kaia: mommy mama

I cried reaching for them suddenly I saw my mom and dad approach me my mom picked me up and kissed my head rocking me back and forth

Suddenly she started walking away from the backyard and I started crying louder watching my mommy and mama slowly disappear then suddenly I felt very sleepy then everything went black......
