This is no case for a "talk no jutsu", there is nothing I can say that will change his mind.
He lets out a giant scream and continues shouting at me."You think I can just change? That I can simply forget the pain, the anger? You're naive, Spidergirl! There is no better path kiddo! This is who I am now. Embrace the darkness, or be consumed by it!"
I tilt my head and tell him how stupid this is. "I'll do you one better, light always beats darkness."
"Ng..RAUUUUUUGHHHHHHHH"
Oops.
I'm still not sure if I can handle him alone. Shooting at him alone won't help. Where the heck is S.H.I.E.L.D??? They should have been here a long time ago, what could possibly take them so long?
Then a police officer raises his hand to cause attention. "Everyone, I have received a message from Nick Fury. S.H.I.E.L.D is apparently covered in radioactive slime! They can't get out! All their vehicles are damaged!
Ugh great! Not only does he bring chaos to the city, he also blocks the people that are willing to sacrifice everything to keep it safe?! I can feel my veins and muscles getting thicker as I bite my teeth together, forming two fists. This makes me so angry, how can someone be so selfish? I start to breath heavily. That's it, this bastard has no limits! He needs to be destroyed.
"Please help us Spidergirl, we need you!" A woman screams from further away while she holds her kids hand, clearly scared to come any closer.
"Do not worry M'am, I will take care of it." I don't look back to see her reaction.
Suddenly I feel this power again. The same that I felt after the bite. For some reason now I'm completely sure that I will take him down, no matter what.
I start to bully him. "All of this because Daddy didn't give you enough love?"
He is about to burn out, clearly not taking it anymore. He speaks to me with a deep deep voice: "How...dare you? silence How dare you.... PROVOKE ME?
"Aww look, our little Stewie is about to get weely weely angwyy wiff me :((" Now I pissed him off for sure, but that's what he deserves. He takes a few steps closer to me, breathing fast and heavily, clinging his fists as he gives me the death stare. To that I respond with a mean smile and continue. "Gonna cry?"
He screams at the top of his lungs again: "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGHHHHHH"
Without warning, Steward lunges at me, his movements fueled by rage. I barely have time to react, narrowly dodging his first strike. But my spidey-senses can feel every attack coming, it is amazing. Our dance of combat now begins, each movement filled with conflicting emotions.
Punch
Bang
Swoop
Pewwww
Poooof
I try to avoid his powerful attacks by dodging, but I know this can't last forever. This is the perfect time to test my shooters. I pull the trigger as I aim the shooter to his direction. A web string comes out and sticks to the slime's body. It worked! I'm so proud of myself! Now my legs are fueled with energy for my power sprint. I run in circles to wrap the long web string around his body, hoping to prevent his defense. I run so fast that he can't keep up with me, so he just watches unwillingly. Done! Now he can't move anymore thanks to my awesome self made shooter. Sarah you're a genius! I know I know, I show off too much.
"Hah, do you really think this will work against me?"
But it literally just did. "I mean ... yeah."
He slowly tilts his head. "Think again..."
Between the gaps of the wrapped web, he starts to grow two extra arms and legs. Unfortunately my plan has failed. Shit! What do I do now? I am so dead.
He runs torwards me so fast that I can't even react. I freeze for a moment. He is about to eat me alive when suddenly I feel electricity flowing through my body. It is strange, but I clearly don't have the time to process anything, so think about jumping up really fast and it happens. I feel like a bullet flying to the sky. This new energy feels good (and saved my ass). Steward looks at me confused. I want to tell him that I have no idea how that happened, but I should probably keep that to myself.
"Looks like I underestimated you. Fine, then I'm not holding back."
OH HE WAS HOLDING BACK?!
Cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool no doubt no doubt. Stay cool Sarah it can't be that bad. I close my eyes and breathe in.
Steward takes the opportunity to punch her away and she smacks against a building. Now she lies there unconscious.
Is it over for Spidergirl? Will Steward take over the city? Was Nick Fury wrong about her?
