"We should go and see Thor." I suggested and Loki groans.
"It's just been a couple of hours for him and everything is still fresh. You should be supporting him."Loki merely ignores me, muttering under his breath like a child as I rolled my eyes with a tiny smile.
"Can we not just stay here, for a few more minutes?" He asked as he turned his head in my laps to face me.
"You're stalling." I deadpanned.
"Never…Perhaps?" He says before letting out a large breath. "I'm not ready for this to be over. It is just too soon."
I knew he was comfortable here, living the good rich lifestyle where nobody treated him like an outcast and he was reluctant to leave, but we were running low on time.
Thor arrived here later than expected and I keep having these visions of something bad happening. I knew something big is coming but I just didn't know when. And this fact is making me anxious about everything and everyone I cared about.
"Loki, we've talked about this." I breathed. "The sooner we get Thor out off here, the sooner we can stop your sister and be together wherever you want."
Loki sighed as he stood up and walked away from me, making me realise…
He really didn't want to return, he really didn't think Thor would get here."It's okay if you want to stay here. But like I've been saying since I got here, I have responsibilities I have to take care off, I told you about the people I have to take care off and I can't stay here with you." I said calmly, despite the storm of emotions, ranging from hurt to confusion to anger, brewing inside of me.
He doesn't say anything but I could see his shoulders tense. I decided to just leave him there and walked out. He knew where to find me if he changed his mind.

I finally found the cell where Thor was thrown. God knows how many there are in this place, no wonder there were numerous bloody matches each night.
The guard opens the door for me to enter, closing it behind me almost immediately.
I frowned as I saw Thor sitting on the filthy floor, with a dejected look on his face. I sighed, taking a seat beside him, looking around awkwardly.
I see a Kronan talking animatedly with some purple creature with scissors hands. They both waved at me when they caught me staring and I returned the gesture.
"I'm sorry about Mjolnir…and Odin." I said softly.
"He is not coming, is he?" Thor asked in response as he pushed a pebble back and forth with the tip of his fingers and I look away.
"I'm sorry." I said again, not knowing what else to say.
After a few seconds of silence I finally speak up.
"Is there something we can do? Like for Odin? Like a prayer or something?"I don't understand the concept of their funeral rite but I knew they said a prayer during Frigga's funeral. Or maybe it's only for people that died in battle.
Thor shifts beside me, kneeling to face the wall and I do so too.
"Odin," he starts quietly, "I bid you take your place in the halls of Valhalla, Where the brave shall live forever. Nor shall we mourn but rejoice for those that have died the glorious death."
"-glorious death." I turned around to see Loki standing there. I pursed my lips when I didn't feel the now familiar hum I feel when he's near.
"It hurts, doesn't it? Being lied to. Being told you're one thing and then learning it's all a fiction." Thor picks up some of the stones he was playing with earlier and throws it through Loki's projection.
