The somewhat familiar heat of  Wakanda greets me after the bifrost light disappeared.

Thousands of faceless army surrounding my friends and family is what I noticed next as I did a quick take of the field.

Rocket jumps down from Thor's shoulder, cocking his gun with a smirk.

I twirl my staff between my fingers, letting wisps of energy flow through me.

"Bring Me Thanos!!!"

With that we all charged for the heard of outriders with a war cry.

Thor goes first, taking to the skies and landing with a shockwave that kills all outrider within range.

I follow suit, taking to the sky, spinning my staff before landing, pushing my staff into the ground, releasing a huge wave that takes out more outriders.

I look around, finally taking it all in. I spotted Bruce in the Hulkbuster suit, grinning like an idiot, Nat, who is now blonde, was taking out these dogs with her electric baton, Liv was cutting through them with her katanas, her dad not to far behind her with his guns, I could feel the buzz of the twins and Vision, I could spot the burst of purple energy from T's suit. It takes me a few seconds to recognise Steve in his worn out uniform and a full beard, walking towards me.

"Lis." He breathes as he stands a few feet in front of me and I give him a small smile.

"Captain Rogers." I teased and he lets out a smile. I don't think as I walked into his arms, wrapping my arms around him, a gesture which he returns, making tears of relief fill my eyes.

"I'm sorry Lis." He whispers and I let out a small chuckle.

"I'm sorry too, Stevie." I responded and his body relaxed.

"This is a very touching reunion, it's sweet and all, but I believe I say this on behalf of everyone, now is not the time!" Pietro zooms around us taking out strays, making me break the hug with a wide smile.

"It's good to see you too, Sonic." I responded as he screeched to a stop in front of me, breathing heavily.

He engulfs me in a bear hug before I could even blink, squeezing the air out of my lungs.

"Okay, I get it, you missed me. No need to squeeze me to death." I grunted and he lets me go softly.

"I didn't miss you, Violet. I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget that I give the most amazing hugs." He responds with a shrug.

"Yeah, sure." I said with a knowing smile and he rolls his eyes before zooming off with a smile.

Thor lands between Steve and I as we both take out a few more Outriders.

"New haircut?" Steve asks, breathing heavily.

"I notice you've copied my beard." Thor responded. "Oh, by the way, this is a friend of mine, Tree."

"I am Groot." Groot grunts, impaling three of the dogs with his hand.

"I am Steve Rogers." Steve responded politely, making me chuckle.

Only you, Steve. Only you.

The ground suddenly starts to shake making me look around in confusion. The last time I'd felt this was in Sokovia, when Ultron uprooted the city.

Several large spiky thingys, in groups of five, suddenly digs past the barrier, making me burst into action.

I lift my self to the sky, wrapping as many as I could in wisps of energy, lifting them up with me.

I fly outside the barrier, knowing it's the only place safe enough for me to destroy these mechanisms without hurting my family.

I let the mechanism fall right in the midst of the pack hurdled together creating a large explosion that rocks the ground.

I fly back into the barrier ready to lift the rest of the mechanisms scattered across the field when I spotted someone that made my blood boil with anger.

I fly in their direction, noticing how she was standing over Nat and Liv. I throw a huge blast at her, making her stumble away from them.

"You!" She sneers when she sees me. "I see you learnt something from your boyfriend."

I don't bother befitting her with a response, I just throw blast after blasts at her, letting out my anger. She deflects some of the blasts with difficulty and a smirk.

I give her a smirk of my own when I feel vibrations beneath my feet. I wrap her in wisps of energy, lifting her into the sky, just in time for the mechanism to pass, killing her immediately, her blood splattering everywhere.

"That was really gross." Nat breathes as I helped her up. "You alright?"

I nodded with a smile as I left her to help Liv, who engulfs me in a hug as soon as she's on her feet.

"It's good to see you, Lis. We thought you were gone." She held me tighter against her.

"I'm okay. I'm here now." I patted her head softly. "Aren't you supposed to be in school or something?" I joked.

"Well…" she trails off as she glanced at Nat, who shrugs.

"Young lady, we are going to have a serious talk when this is over." I responded as I gave Okoye a nod of greeting.

"It's good, to see you commander. Still as scary as ever." I sent her a teasing smile.

"You just had to ruin it, white Princess. I was just starting to like you." She responds.

"Please, you love me. I'm very lovable." I rolled my eyes playfully.

She merely shakes her head with a smile before walking away.

Wanda grunts as she helps herself to her feet before coming to hug me.
"You have no idea how good it is to see you."

Her Sokovian accent seeps through her words.

"It's good to be back. I missed you guys so much." I responded as I hugged her back.

"You seem different, but I can't read if it's a good different or…" she trails off suddenly looking anxious. "Got it. I have to go." With that she flies away.

"What's that about?" I asked Nat and Liv. Okoye has moved away from sight.

"Vision needs back up." Liv responds as Nat hands me a spare comm from one of her many pockets.

"Where did you get that? It's cute." I told her as I plugged it in my hear.

"It's Yelena's." She responds with a soft smile and I give her one of understanding.

A loud explosion has me looking up, breaking the aura of calm and normalcy that has fallen on me for a brief moment.

"Okay, we really have to go."
