A/N: Ok, so here's the deal, guys. I always intended to have a chapter where Mikael and Klaus have a heartfelt talk, like The Talk. It was the first part of this story that I wrote before I had even posted or planned anything.

But the show is called the Originals, and not Klaus' Show lol. So I thought maybe I could have a chapter for each and every one of the Mikaelsons where they have a heartfelt conversation with Mikael. I always felt that was missing from the show, since we barely saw Mikael interacting with Kol and Finn and Henrik.

What are your thoughts on this, guys? PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! so I can plan better for the end of this first part of the story.

The Mikaelsons had a proper hug when they all woke up. The group hug, in a circle with their heads lowered and their eyes closed, was short and solemn. It was meant to signify that their family was finally whole once again. But before that, everyone had individual hugs with all their siblings. They all cried at first, but soon composed themselves. Tears were useless now. They won. Smiles and laughter were far better, and they deserved some shameless happiness after such a terrible millennium.

Finn got the most teary-eyed hugs, since his brothers and sisters were sure never to see him again. Henrik, however, got the most hugs overall. No one wanted to let go of him, in fear their little brother would disappear. Still, they all did. They had much to talk about. Henrik had watched them from the other side. He had even mastered the strength to send small ghostly signals to his siblings from time to time. As he recounted such signs, his siblings realized with a sad smile that they never even noticed the signs. It would disappoint Henrik once he learned about this, so they all quietly decided not to tell him just yet.

After the warm family reunion, the Mikaelsons avoided talking about Mikael. He was there, alive, in the kitchen of Lucian's apartment. Only a few meters away, and yet worlds apart. They all wanted to speak with him, carve answers out of him. But to talk with Mikael would be to break the spell, and admit he was truly the one who saved them—they were partially pretending a higher power had saved them, and not Mikael.

Besides, there were others in the apartment with them. Cami, Gia, Jackson, Hayley, Hope, Davina, Sage, and Josh and his boyfriend. All sleeping peacefully in a large room. All very much alive and well. A note by the door—with Mikael's handwriting—informed the Mikaelsons that their friends and companions would wake up in a few hours, probably at dawn.

The note also said there was food for the humans, vampires, and witches at the dinner table. Though, the Mikaelsons didn't need a note to see that. The food was still hot and smelled delicious when they woke up. Freya and Finn guided Henrik to the table after the reunion ended, and their siblings sat around the living room, glancing anxiously at the kitchen.

"Who made all this food for us?" Henrik asked, stuffing a piece of chocolate cake in his mouth. He was almost relaxed, excited, sure, but not even close to the same anxiety that plagued his siblings. Mostly because he had some information—which he acquired watching his father from the other side—about Mikael and his true intentions that his siblings didn't know. Because of this, Henrik was neither afraid nor angry with his father. Though he was anxious to see him again and talk.
