"Prince Christian, always a pleasure," you curtsied to the heir to the throne of the neighbouring kingdom while biting back a laugh.
"Come on, you don't need to be so pretentious around me princess," he laughed, offering you his arm.
You happily linked arms with the boy. You both walked towards your fathers, smiling at all the guests attending the ball.
"Wonder how long it takes our dads to mention marriage," you whispered to him, making him smile softly.
He slightly shrugged, "I sure wouldn't be complaining, you look gorgeous tonight darling."
"Don't let my dad hear you say that Chris!" You giggled joyously. The guests watching your guys' every move in complete and utter awe.
Your dad spotted you both almost instantly, "ah Prince Christian! My soon-to-be son in-law!"
"Told ya!" You chuckled, nudging him with your elbow.
