I have joined the team for three months, and gone on a few missions with these people. And there was a newer member, Bumblebee, Karen Beecher. She can shrink into the size of a bee, has laser blasts, and could fly. I got along with her very well. We're the new girls, and the newbies stick together. Today we had Black Canary's training. She separated us into pairs of two, and I was with Zatanna.

It's not like I hate her. She has cool magic stuff and is beautiful. But I don't understand her, and I probably never will. Not when she hated me.

We both went on the platform, and we started sparring. I could see the look on her eyes, dedicated to defeat me. As a police's daughter, getting kidnapped all the time, and trained by Batman himself, there's no way she could win. Surprisingly, she used her powers, which an ordinary human like me, don't have.

It's basically cheating. Nevermind. I played dead and fell on the floor myself. I didn't enjoy training with these people. I didn't feel comfortable there. Karen joined the team for only a month, and she fitted in nicely.
"Sorry. I was too eager to win and I forgot to control myself." She said.
"It's fine..." I got up and left. Even Wally could see that I wasn't happy.

I arrived back to Gotham, and saw Nightwing out of my bedroom window.
"Wanna go out for a while? Patrolling and getting some fresh air." he said.
"You can't call the air fresh in Gotham, but I needed it." I smiled. I got into my Batgirl costume, and went outside with Dick.

We went back to the batcave and got our motorcycles, and I followed him to the center of Gotham. We drove through the entire city, feeling the wind in our hair.
"Race you to the docks!" I challenged him.
"Loser pays for ice cream!" He yelled.
"Deal!" I said and hung on to my motorcycle. I increased my bike's speed and so did he.
I came first , and I won the race.

"One scoop of double chocolate ice cream, thank you." I mocked.
"Fine..."
He went to the ice cream kart and bought us dessert. He passed me my double chocolate ice cream and waited for me to talk.
"So... what happened back there?"
"I... hate interacting with people... I don't fit in... Karen got here two months after I did, she's already fitting in very well. Sometimes I do think of myself as an outsider, a freak with emotional problems..." I couldn't stop talking about my problems, which I usually just stay silent about.

"Babs." Dick tried to cut me off. "Babs! You don't have to worry about fitting in, or what others think. Just be yourself. I'll always be there for you. You're my best friend." He gave me a pat on my head.

"Look." He pointed. "Seems like he's doing a trade for weapons. Wanna give him a surprise?" He smiled at me.
"Of course." I answered, smiling back.

We rode back to the batcave after our victory. Jason was hitting a punch bag, hardly, and Batman was on the computer, tracing Joker.

"Hi... what happened?" Dick asked innocently.
"Robin let the Joker escape again. It was supposed to be a good chance to catch him. Now he's gone."

"..." Jason ran to the elevator, to the manor. Dick went after him.
"You shouldn't be so hard on him. He's only a kid." Alfred said to Batman. "You should have more faith in him, trust him..." I added, then I exited the cave.
"One mistake doesn't define you. I'm here for you." I texted Jason, hoping it would cheer him up.

The next day I saw Dick, and he told me that he and Bruce talked. And Bruce agreed to give Jason another chance.
They are going for the joker that night. I offered my help, but Jason said it would be best if Bruce and himself handled the problem, which he caused. I gave him a hug and told him to do his best. I had never thought of what's coming next.

I'm doing one part every day, hope you will enjoy :>
