"So, what did you want to tell me?" I asked as I wheeled in the dinner.
"Babs! So good to see you." He said."We haven't talked properly since... you know."
"Straight to the point, I'm busy." Not so busy since Zee was on a date with someone, and Kara went to celebrate with the Kents.
"Too busy to have dinner on christmas eve?" He chuckled. I gave him the bat glare, as if I really was irritated.
"I have three things to say. I'm sorry, for what I said in our argument, and my actions. Starfire returned to earth, and my actions made you worry. I'm sorry... And for the second thing, I miss you. I miss your red hair, I miss you calling me boy wonder, and I miss your smile." The look in his eyes was so sincere, pure, and hopeful."At last, I just wanna say, I love you Barb. You've always been there by my side, and I have had a crush on you since forever."
The L word, I want to say it, but I couldn't.
"I'm sorry, but you're better off without me. I need time.""So you're letting me go? Forever?" His voice sounded a bit shaking. I stared at the table, staying silent. He saw my reaction, and left the restaurant. He left some money to pay for the food, for the both of us. "I'm sorry... I shouldn't have called you here." He said. I remained silent, until I saw him leave.
I ate quietly, alone. And I gave a call to my dad afterwards.
"Hey... Dad? How are you doing?"
"Great! Barbara... are you crying?"
Tears rolled down my face, and landed on the table cloth.
"Mind if I come back home for the night?" I asked. My voice was a bit trembling.
"Anything for my dear girl." He said.I spent the rest of my Christmas Eve watching a Christmas movie with my dad. He didn't ask about what happened, and gave me some space.

"Okay... Mr. Lover boy became mr depression." Steph joked.
"Not a good time." Dick growled.
"I'll play your playlist and let you cry." Tim said. He typed on the bat computer, and there was an AI spotify. "Now playing Dick Grayson's playlist. Red by Taylor Swift." It said."Tim! The hair colour!" Steph cried.
"Oh shoot..." Dick began to sob, and eating a whole tub of ice cream. Bruce came to check on his kids, and saw the guy in a blue jacket sobbing through songs.
"We're running out of ice cream..." Steph told Bruce.
