New Chapter (A Thiam Story)

Chapter 11

It has officially been one whole week since Liam's suspension. He apologized to Theo, and he told him to stay away from him. It did hurt Liam, but he got over it. His mere focus was on trying to get Scott to trust him again.

When Scott picked him up from school, he didn't say a word to Liam. Liam kept apologizing, but Scott kept saying 'I know.' Liam knows he has to make it right, he just doesn't know how.

"Hey, Dads." He told them in a nervous tone. It is a Friday morning, and Scott and Isaac are at the dinner table eating cereal. Isaac looks at Liam smiling at him, which warms his heart. Scott on the other hand doesn't even look at Liam. Which makes Liam sad. "You have to talk to me one day, Dad. You can't be mad at me forever."

"I'm not mad at you." Scott told him surprising Liam. Not that he wasn't mad at Liam, Liam kinda knew that. But that Scott actually talked to him. "I'm just disappointed."

And there it is. Every kids worse fear from their parents's mouth.

"I'm going to do better when I got back, I promise."

"I know. Until then, you will be staying at your Moms' house."

Liam's mouth drops, and so does Isaac's. Scott has never sent Liam to Allison. Even if Liam got in trouble at school.

"W - - Why?" Liam stutters.

"Maybe she can teach you about lying. Since she's good at it."

"And so are you!" Liam snapped. He immediately regretted it though. But it was the heat of the moment and it had to come out.

"Excuse me?" Scott questioned with a serious tone in his voice and a glare that Liam feared.

Liam rolls his eyes and he lets out what he wants to say.

"You lied too. Not just Mom. You both lied to each other, and most importantly, ME!" Liam cries. "You never told Mom you were pansexual. You never told Mom that you were going to date her ex boyfriend in high school. Mom lied to me about you two staying together forever. My whole world crumbled when you both got divorced. I always thought, at least I have Hayden. She left me too. Mom forced Tierny to move with her, and now I barely see my own sister. Don't get me wrong, I love having two Dads, but I miss when things were normal, and when my only problem was my IED."

Liam looks Scott in the eyes. Liam sees hurt, regret, pain and so much more he can't point out. Tears escape Liam's eyes like a waterfall. At times, he wish he went to a different school. Then he would have never met Theo, and he could have been on the lacrosse team and none of this would have happened.

"You're right." Scott said making Liam gasp.

"What?"

"I said, you're right. I messed up everything but I never meant to hurt you or your mother. I told her I was pansexual, after having Tierny. And she accepted it. But then Isaac came back, and I started having feelings for him. I know it's hard for you not to have your mom and sister in your life, but if you want to go visit them... You can."

"Do I really need permission to see my own mom and sister?"

"No, but they do live a hour away, so if you want to see them... Please tell me."

"I will." Liam walks away to his room. He lifted some things off his chest and Scott took it better than he thought. Wait till Mason and Corey hear about this.

"You okay?" Isaac asks Scott holding his hand. Scott squeezes Isaac's hand.

"Yeah. I had to handle the situation before he went into IED mode. But I do mean what I said to him. I don't know if I want to see Allison again, though."
