In the schools Library, Liam walks in the empty room. Looking at all the shelves full of books that haven't been touched in years. The shelves and floors are the same color, light brown and very dusty.
Liam waits five minutes for Theo to come, but he doesn't. So he goes to walk out the door when Mr.Stewart walks in.
"Leaving without having detention? I thought you were a loyal student Mr.Dunbar." Mr.Stewart tells him with a smug grin. Liam hates that man very much.
"Theo hasn't shown up yet, so why do I have to stay?" Liam asks.
"Because you won't get in trouble like Mr.Raeken will."
Theo walks into the room with a light blue hoodie on, and both AirPods in, one on each ear.
"Right on time Mr.Raeken, both of you enjoy this detention cleaning every single part of this library for two hours." Mr.Stewart instructs. Liam nods, and Theo rolls his eyes not thrilled.
A few minutes has passed, Liam has just finished cleaning one tabletop, and Theo sets his feet on top of the table with his shoes still on, crossing them.
"What the hell Raeken? You just saw me cleaning that!" Liam said with anger. Theo doesn't listen because he still has both of his AirPods in. Liam yanks one of them out. "I know you heard me you piece of shit."
Theo snatches his AirPod from Liam's hand and he stands on his feet. "Yeah I heard you, and I do not care. And hurry up and clean so I can go back to my dorm."
"No, WE both are in detention, so get your tiny ass off of this chair and help."
"I'm not the one who screwed things up."
"You almost got me expelled, and you really expect me to forgive you?"
"And I apologized! But you didn't accept it."
"You can't just apologize for something like that, YOU COULD HAVE RUINED MY LIFE, THEO! You talk about me not handling change well, but how can I when so much shit is happening all at once? You don't know what's going on in my life, so help me with this fucking cleaning and we both can go our separate ways."
Theo knows that Liam is hurt by what he did, but Theo doesn't care. He has no one, and he should make Liam feel the pain for getting him suspended from football.
They just stand there, looking at each other with hate. That's when Theo picks up random cleaning supplies and he throughs the chemicals at Liam.
That's when Liam breaks. He tackles Theo to the ground, and he starts punching him as hard as he can.
Theo pushes Liam off of him and he stands to his feet immediately. He grabs Liam by his burgundy polo shirt, and slams him to a nearby wall. Liam tries to get Theo off of him, but Theo is stronger compared to Liam.
"Get off of me Theo!" Liam begs trying all he can to get Theo off of him.
"LISTEN TO ME! You have no idea what you are doing to me Liam. I can never get you out of my goddamn head! I tried to get you expelled but I can stand to lose you. You make me feel things and I don't like it."
Liam feels Theo's grip on his shirt loosen, as Liam stops trying to fight Theo.
"Theo..."
Theo lets go of Liam's shirt and he walks out of the library. Did Theo really just tell Liam that he liked him? But Theo dated Tracy. But Tracy is a lesbian. Liam's mind is going in a million miles, but one thought is not. Theo just confessed that he liked Liam, and Liam couldn't lie that he felt something too.
He liked Theo too.
