New Chapter (A Thiam Story)

Chapter 18

After Liam has finished his detention, he is walking back to his dorm room is distress. Theo just told Liam that he liked him. So all along, Theo wasn't straight? But how didn't he notice it? He should really talk to someone about this, but he still has no one.

Liam opens his dorm door, and he closes it behind him. He walks into his room more, when he sees Brett walking around in a circular pace.

"Brett what the fuck are you doing here?" Liam asks not being pleased with seeing him.

"I wanted to see you. I haven't seen you in a couple of days, and you're not answering my text and calls." Brett cries. Liam should feel hurt by Brett being in pain, but he doesn't.

"Brett, Mason was right."

Brett looks completely lost. "What do you mean?"

"During Kappa Sigma, you weren't by my side when Nolan was coming at me. We are in a relationship and you weren't with me."

"Oh but Mason was by your side and you got mad at him. You are a hard person to please, Liam. You don't handle things very well because you always want to solve your problems with anger. I'm done with you."

Liam starts crying. He doesn't know why, but it hurts losing someone you cared about.

"Fine, go ahead. I don't have to never see you again and I'll be okay with it. I'm done with you, Kappa Sigma... I'm going to get my life together, and I don't need you to be apart of it."

"I came here to talk to you about us, and I never thought we would break up. Glad you expressed how you were really feeling, Liam." Brett walks out of the room, slamming the door shut.

The next morning, Liam has not gotten out of bed. He needed to take a day off of classes. He has nothing to do, so he's just laying in his bed, bored.

"Liam?"

Liam looks up, startled. "How did you get into my room?"

"You never lock your door." Hikari tells him. "You weren't in class, so I wanted to see how you were."

"Well I'm doing fine. You can go now."

"I'm gonna go hang out with Hayden, Mason, and Corey. You can come with. Mason keeps talking about you. He misses you."

"But he hasn't come to see me."

"Because he knows you need your space to calm down. Come hangout with us, and make mends with your friendships. First semester is almost over, and you have to make the best of the moment and not waste any time."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

"Well, duh."

Hikari laughs and Liam laughs with her.

"I have missed hanging out with you all. The past few days have been very boring and drama filled."

"Drama? Yeah, you definitely have to tell us now. We're going to Juniors after class, meet us there please?"

"Yeah."

And with that, Hikari walks out of the room. Liam is going to take Hikari's advice to make mends with Mason, and take Tierny's advice to make a mark.
