I couldn't bare to face her

I couldn't bare to face her.

Not after the way that I have humiliated her and basically cheated on her continuously. And the way that I have made her feel like she meant absolutely nothing to me.

I truly don't deserve her.

How can I look into those titillating golden eyes of hers and boldly just ask her for her forgiveness?

I can't.

Call me a baseless coward but I have been intentionally skipping school for these past two days just so I didn't have to face her.

Now with the weekend upon me I dared to venture out of my living quarters for the first time in days.

So far I was able to make it completely out of the Elite building without anyone catching sight of me.

As I jumped into my silver Escalade I hit the gas with my tires ripping up the gravel beneath them, I tore out of the driveway with only one damn thing on my mind currently: I had to escape.

I had to leave.

Just for a short time I needed to get the hell away from Cranston High and my darkest temptation known as the one and only Haze.

I streamlined to my destination hurriedly to a little hot spot that I knew of that is always holding a pop up rave called The Oasis.

A little out of the way place that once was an old abandoned building that was known as the Cranston cotton gin. It was named the oasis because it was literally a small area that the teens of the town could sometimes escape from their everyday mishaps of their boring and humdrum lives.

Pulling my car into an empty slot at the side of the old worn down building, I hurried my pace to get inside of it, I need to have a few mindless drinks to be able to come to terms with my dilemma that I myself unfortunately created. I needed to get drunk off of my ass.

Passing by the bouncer named Steamer I give him one stiff nod of my head as I happily entered into the building.

The loud bass line music assailed my ears as soon as I crashed through the door. There were throngs of different varieties of people just hanging about, drinking, or dancing to the heavy beats of the dance mix that is coursing out through the set up speakers all around the building.

I made my way to the middle of the room where there is a circular makeshift bar was set up to order my first round of drinks of the night.

I slide in between to buff guys that have their backs turned away from me. Signaling for the bartender I wait patiently for him to come to finally take my order. As I'm waiting for him I start searching around the rave mindlessly with my own doubts still viscously plaguing me.

"What ya want?" The bartender asked me.

"I'll take a Mezcal." I reply eagerly to him. He gives me one stiff nod then goes to make my drink for me.
