It's been two long exasperated weeks since we have returned back home.
Lanesra, thankfully, only had a small bump that was on her forehead from her unfortunate fall from my bed.
Me on the other hand ended up having one hell of a whopper of a knot right on the side of my head that Poseidon created.
For a few days, after we arrived back home, I had the most painful headaches imaginable from the oversized bump that was located right above my right ear.
But now since Lanesra and my injuries have faded from existence, we couldn't be happier.
That's why I'm in the kitchen presently humming a sweet little tune as I bake my little heart out.
With Lanesra safely situated in her high chair I decided that today I was going to treat my mates to a little surprise. Each one of them, have been working nonstop in the training field since our return.
I wanted to show them all just how much I truly do appreciate each one of them for all that they do for me and our daughter.
With my talents quite limited, I ended up decided to show them all just how much I care by doing something for them that I know I have the knack for and that is baking.
So far, I have already baked some double fudge cupcakes with caramel swirl icing along with some double nut chewy brownies, I also have whipped up, to go along with all that, some of my famous peanut butter balls.
Now I'm waiting patiently for the last item to finally get done, that I just happen to conjure up on a whim.
A very enticing pecan pie that I plan on topping it off with a sweet vanilla bean ice cream layer once it's cools down.
I discreetly check on Lanesra in her high chair as she plays with the endless amount of Cheerios that I gave her earlier.
She lets out a soft little whimsical giggle while she keeps throwing the cereal all about the kitchen carelessly.
When the timer suddenly goes off, I hurriedly rush to grab the pie out of the oven. The entire kitchen now has the sweet aroma of chocolate and karo syrup wafting all throughout it.
Placing the pie down on the cooling rack, I switched off the oven quickly then I turn my full attention back to my adorable baby.
I have made some big plans for tonight and I really need to get a move on if I attend to accomplish everything that I have set out for me to do for today.
Since I am now done with all of my baking I need to hurry along and give Lanesra her bath then I have to make sure I feed her before her babysitter for the night arrives here to pick her up.
I set all of these secretive plans in emotion behind my mates back just a few days ago while Starla, Miracle, Jaci, and I were all out shopping.
Starla has graciously volunteered to watch over Lanesra for the night so that I can finally have some much needed alone quality time with my mates.
