Am I the only damn mate that Haze has that doesn't cause her problems?

These idiots keep making a damn mockery out their relationships with her.

The only one, other than me, that I can see that hasn't raised any type of issues up with her yet, is obviously Bran.

Even Ark, the one who I thought could never do no wrong by his mate, has been having some underlining issues with her that he will not even remotely disclose to anybody, but me. He should be more open with Haze about his current dilemma, isn't that what a prime example of a true mate is supposed to be like? Open and honest?

I'm highly disappointed in all of my friends. A mate should be treasured and treated just like the rarest forms of the finest gold.

Although, I know that Ark is helplessly falling in love with Haze, he is having some underlining issues now with his family concerning her. I guess sometimes love doesn't always prevail?

Ark called up his parents last night to happily inform them about meeting his mate. At first they were all overjoyed for him and her, that is up until he told them about her special ability.

That's when all hell broke loose according to Ark. They both adamantly refused to accept Haze. They rudely told their one and only son, that if he didn't reject her like they wanted him too, then Ark wouldn't be able to become the next Alpha of their pack, The Crescent Moon Pack.

They would just ultimately disown him and all because of Hazes ability. How ignorant is that?

That's why I ended up making the stupid suggestion to him for all of us to just sit back and relax and smoke a bit of weed. To help him get his mind off of his familial problems.

And of course, because of my ludicrous suggestion, Ark is basically in his own little fucking world right now, as he, Torq, and I are all making our way to Hazes living quarters.

Ark reaches her door before either one of us do. With him so fucking high he playfully slaps both of his hands against on her door while singsonging out in a child's voice, "Haze my dear sweet sweet Haze, open up for me." Then he jerks his head over to Torq and I while giving us a deadpan look he maliciously adds, "like you did with your legs." He lowly reveals to us while cracking a gigantic smile over at the two of us as high laughter starts rippling straight through him.

I immediately feel repulsed by his insensitive words about our mate. I know the fucker is high and upset over his parents refusal over Haze but that shit that was totally uncalled for.

"Seriously Ark! Have a little more damn respect for your mate!" I admonish him sternly with a hiss.

I knew that he and Haze had already mated but I find it very disgraceful to speak about her in such a degrading and derogatory way.
