A/n - This story was requested by @Only4Tewksbury111. I hope you like it. I definitely didn't copy the scene in stranger things when Eleven talks about her dad being her hero.

A/n - Your name is Y/n Marie Buckley. If you read the title, you would already know that your dad is Evan Buckley from the show 911. You're 12 or 13 years old (I'll let you choose bc Evan is 26, so if you're 12 he was 14 and if you're 13 he was 13). I'm running out of ideas for mom's so we'll just say she died from cancer. Just like your dad, you are compassionate and impulsive, but not as confident as him. You have his blue eyes and light blonde hair, but yours is a little lighter.

Y/n's POV

My alarm on my phone went off (fun fact, my alarm on my phone is the song 'Nightmare on My Street). I groaned and turned off my alarm then curled back into my blanket. I heard my bedroom door open, just as I was about to fall asleep.

"Y/n, time to get up and ready for school," I heard dad say.

I groaned, "Nooooo," I said as I pulled my sheets over my head.

"You have to get up," dad said.

"I don't want to," I whined.

"Well then your walking to school in the rain because I have to get to work soon," Dad said.

I just mumbled.

"Okay, get up," dad said as he grabbed my comforter, sheets, and blankets off the bed then pulled me off the bed onto the floor.

I just grabbed one of the blankets and wrapped myself in it on the floor.

"Come on," dad said, "Okay, you know what, you'll just have to fail your presentation today."

"okay," I said, "I don't like talking in front of people anyway."

"But you also don't like failing," dad said.

"That's a lie," I said.

"You cried when your teacher gave you a C on a test," dad said.

"That was a few years ago," I said.

"That was a month ago," dad replied.

"Fine, I'll get up," I said.

"Thank you," dad said as he left.

"In 5 minutes," I said.

"Oh no you don't," dad said coming back into my room.

At school

As I got to school, I walked over to my locker to see Sarah there. Sarah's my bff, but there's one thing, she's deaf. (If y/n is talking to Sarah it's automatically sign language and when Sarah talks it's sign language.)
