A/n: What if when Shawn was dating Angela Moore, she ended up getting pregnant and this is what caused the two to break up. Once Y/n Rae Hunter-Moore was born they chose to split custody. Y/n, Riley, and Maya make up the 3 Chaotic Musketeers. and of course there's always Farkle and Lucas, and Josh whenever he's visiting. While Y/n always acts like everything's fine, she always hates having to go to her mom's because of her mom's drug addiction, but she would never tell anyone. Her dad however, she could never get enough of him.

Y/n's POV
I sniffled as I whipped my eyes. I was sitting at a police station waiting for my dad to come pick me up. I looked up when I heard a door slam and saw dad rushing in. He rushed over to the front desk.
"I'm looking for Y/n Hunter." he said.
"Oh she's..."
"Dad?" I said as I walked over.
"Hey, are you alright?" he asked hugging me.
"Yeah." I said as I sniffed again.
"Okay, let's go home." he said.
Time skip
"How you feeling?" Dad asked as I sat down on the couch.
"I don't know, I mean I'm upset, but she had it coming for her. Mess with drugs you find out."
"That's reasonable."
Shawn's POV
I felt bad for Y/n, no kid deserves to walk in on their parent dead from ODing. In a way I can relate with her, but also not. I know how it feels to have a parent die, but not in the way she does. I hugged her as we sat on the couch.
"Would I be a bad daughter if I didn't go to her funeral?" she asked.
"I'm not going to make you go if you don't want to, that's a decision for you to make."
"Right."
"Do you need anything?"
"No, I just need you." she said as she hugged me more.
"Okay." I replied as I kissed her forehead.
