Y/n's POV
Dad's been busy doing famous person/actor stuff. I don't really know. Point is, he's been busy, so we haven't had enough time with each other. I was laying in bed reading a book when my phone went off. It was a text from dad saying that he had a surprise when he got home. I wonder what it is, but he won't be home for 2 hours or so. I just laid in better scrolling through tiktok for about 30 minutes when I heard the front door open.
"Y/n, I'm home," I heard dad yell.
I opened my bedroom door and went downstairs. I hugged dad when I saw him.
"Hey," I said.
"Hi. What did you do all day," he asked.
"Watched TV, read my book, and scrolled through TikTok." I replied.
"Fun," he said.
"What did you do?" I asked.
"Work stuff," he said.
"Fun," I replied sarcastically.
"Sure," he replied.
"So what's the surprise," I asked.
"I got us tickets to the new Mission Impossible premiere," he said. (I know that was in May, but go with me here)
"You're joking," I said.
"No, I seriously got tickets," he said.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you," I said as I hugged him.
"Your welcome," he said.
"Wait, but that's tomorrow!" I said.
"Yeah, and," he said.
"I have to go pick out something to wear!" I said.
He laughed as I ran upstairs. I went through my closet and found a dress and some heels.
Time skip next day
I had 2 hours to get ready for the premiere, so I had to hurry. By the time I finished I had 5 minutes before we left.

Dad and I left the house and went to the premiere. When we got there, we took some photos with the cast and other people then we went inside.
After the movie
After the movie dad and I went to a Chinese restaurant and had dinner. We talked about the movie (I haven't seen it yet, so no spoilers) and who our favorite character(s) is/are.
"Okay, but nothing can beat (enter scene here)," I said.
"What about (different scene)," dad said.
"Nope," I said as I took my straw wrapper and blew it at him through the straw.
"HEY!" dad said as he did the same.
Instead of driving home, we walked home and messed around me. Then when we got home, I went upstairs and changed. After I was done, I snuck downstairs and hit dad with a pillow and we had a huge pillow fight.
