A/n: I love x-files, so I had to, btw this is all before William.

A/n: What if Mulder actually did get Scully pregnant, but it was a girl. Unfortunately, Scully never told Mulder and left before he found out. After she was born, Scully decided that she wasn't fit to be a mother and reminded her of Mulder too much with her green eyes, so she left her on Mulder's door step leaving Mulder to name and raise her alone. Mulder named he Y/n Lyra Mulder. Lyra is a constellation.

Y/n's POV

To say I was excited was an understatement. I was way more than enthusiastic. You want to know why? Today was Friday and this weekend there's going to be a meteor shower and dad promised to take me camping out in the woods, so we could see it. As soon as the bell for dismissal rang at school, I bolted out of the classroom and down to the FBI headquarters. Normally you're not allowed to just walk into the FBI headquarters even if your family, but everyone has practically known me since day one, so they don't really mind.

"Hey Y/n, how was school today," Mr. Cooper the security guard asked checking my bag.

A/n: I just came up with a random names

"Pretty good, I'm super stoked for this weekend though," I replied.

He laughed, "You and your father are both obsessed with everything about space. Here you go, all clear."

"Thank's," I said before running off.

"Hey Mrs. Thornfield. Got any new candy today?" I asked as I stopped by the front desk.

"No, but I do have your favorite," she said setting a small bowl of Goetze's.

"Goetze's!! Your the best Mrs. Thornfield and here is your daily chocolate bar." I said handing her a chocolate bar while grabbing a handful of the candy.

"What flavor did you get me today?" she asked.

"Some random Hershey flavor. Is dad downstairs?"

"I'm pretty sure he's in a meeting, would you like me to call in?"

"No thanks, I'll just wait downstairs for him, see you later." I said.

"Bye."

I then ran downstairs into dad's office. I saw some files all over his desk, but ignored them. I walked over and flipped over a bulletin board which had one of the most unsolvable cases on it. Where my mom was. No one knows where she is, not even the FBI's best. Now I get that she left me, but she sends me a card every year for Christmas, but it never has an address on it. It talks about how sorry she is that she left, but she's too scared to come back. I've been working on this for about 3 years and still haven't gotten anywhere. As soon as I get close, I hit a dead end. I sit down in a rolling chair and take out the case file. I grabbed a pen and sat it down on a desk and stared at it for about 30 minutes before I fell asleep.
