Selena's POV
(Present Day)
I stood in front of my Aunt Carole and Uncle Dan's house in New Jersey with Zedd and Charlotte. She's been doing good for a while so the hospital let her come with us. I'm six months by the way. And Charlotte just turned one. I knocked on the door. Aunt Carole answered. She looked great. "Selena! Who are these cuties? Is one your Dan?" Aunt Carole asked. I nodded. "This is Zedd. And Charlotte, you're great niece I think." I said. "And I see you have my nephew in your stomach." Carole said. I nodded. "I remember when I was your age. Now I'm thirty-five. It's weird, I'm only a decade younger than you." Carole said. I nodded. "So, how are Jillian, Steve, Marissa, Charles, and Hugh?" I asked. "Great." Carole said. "Where's Uncle Dan?" I asked. "In the playroom with the kids." Carole informed. "I can't believe Jillian's already nine." I marvelled. Carole nodded. "Me either." "How old is Dan now?" I asked as we walked into the kitchen. "Thirty-seven." Carole replied. "Do have an old crib I can use to put Charlotte to bed?" I asked. Carole nodded and led to a room. It had green walls with yellow stripes. There was a crib in the middle of the room. "This is Hugh's crib. I hope it's ok." Carole said. "Are you sure Hugh won't need it?" I asked. She nodded. "He woke up from his nap an hour ago." Carole told me. I nodded and put her down. We walked into the family room and Zedd and Dan were talking. I clutched my stomach protectively. I haven't seen Dan in years and the last time I saw him it wasn't great. "Dan, hello." I said. "Hey Selena." Dan said. Zedd stood up and put his arm around my shoulder. "I didn't know your Uncle is a animator. That's awesome." Zedd said. I nodded. "So, do we have an invite to the wedding?" Carole asked. "I nodded. "Definitely." I said. "Who's the maid of honour?" Carole asked. "I'm not sure, either Demi or Vanessa." I answered.
The evening passed by fast and we left at around 9:45 p.m. I held my stomach. I can't wait until Trent's out here.
