Zedd's POV
"Dad?Heidi?" I demanded. "What are you guys doing here?" "Helping you cope with the big breakup. We saw you on TV with that Kendall girl. You need a serious intervention." Heidi said. I looked at my watch Selena will be here any minute. I'm screwed. "Look, Dad, Heidi, I swear I'm fine, I'm dating a really nice girl." I told them. "Ok, who is she?" Dad asked. "Maria." I lied. (Well, Selena's middle name is Maria) "Well, we'd like to meet her." Dad said. "S-She's in um Puerto Rico." I lied. "Ok, well we want to see the city, it's nothing like Texas down here." Dad said. Heidi nodded. "No, you guys need to go, or stay in a hotel." I said, pushing out. "Of course not Anton, you're our son, you have a house and you certainly have room, we insist on staying." Dad argued. I sighed. Selena came in. "Zedd, hey!" She smiled. Then she saw my parents. "Holy-Zedd's parents." She breathed. "What's she doing here?" Dad yelled. "She um is here to give me the uh rest of my things I left at her place when we DATED." I lied. "Why are her hands empty!" Dad exclaimed. "Uh, she is saying goodbye forever." I lied. Selena looked devastated. I felt terrible. "Uh, bye Selena." I said, shooing her off. "Yeah, bye Zedd, forever." She cried as she ran off. Oh that killed me.

Selena's POV
I ran away from Zedd's house, crying. What the hell? Did we break up? Does he hate me? Should I hate him? Of course I don't, he's the best thing that's ever happened to me, but after throwing me away for his parents right now killed me. I guess he doesn't care about our relationship. He doesn't care about me or my feelings. I drove all the way to my apartment. I could barely see while I was driving 'cause of the tears blurring my vision. Why does love suck? Why does he keep breaking my heart? Why does he like hurting me? So many questions unanswered. I put down my bag and took out my phone. I checked my texts. One caught my eye.
How r u? It read. I took my phone and ran and ran and ran until I got to my destination. He was on his lawn, listening to music. I ran up to him and hugged him. "Not good." I cried into his shoulder.
