"Hurry, they should be home any minute now" max called out "okay I'm hurrying" I called back trying to get changed fast "where's my belt!" I yelled "i don't know it's your clothes" max yelled back "if you wouldn't have been in your pjs all day you would have had this problem!" "Well if you wouldn't have distracted me I would have been dressed by now!" I yelled. "Whatever, just hurry up there almost here" max called back "okay I'm almost done" I said. I walked out of my closet and to max "finally you're done!" Max complained "sorry!" I sighed "their here" max said looking out the window. Mark walked in while Grayson and Jazmin followed "hello" max said politely "hello max nice to see you again" mark turned to me "hello you must be millie" mark said as he stuck out his hand. "Don't talk to her," Jazmin said from behind Grayson. "Jazmin" I said looking at jazmin then to mark "I see you met my sister" I said politely eyeing jaz. "Yes I did" Mark said smiling Grayson grabbed jaz's arm "come on let's go" Grayson said as they walked to his room. "What was that all about?" I asked Mark "I had a little talk with jazmin and I think I might have upset her" Mark said shrugging. "You think?" I said then I turned around then walked to Grayson room. "What was that all about?" Grayson asked "I don't want him telling her the truth" jaz said as she sat on the bed "why?" Grayson sat next to her. "Because I don't want her thinking that she is not actually sisters" "because you think she would leave you" Grayson finished her sentence "yeah" jaz sighed "Millie loves you she would never leave you" Grayson reassured her. "I know" "well I know but I don't actually know" jaz said turning to look at Grayson "look I know you're worried about Millie finding out the truth but I promise you she's a strong girl she'll be fine" Grayson said as he hugged jaz. "Thank you" jaz said as she looked at Grayson "for?" Grayson asked "For always being there for me" jaz answered. "You're welcome," Grayson said, smiling.

I stepped away from Grayson's door, I heard that entire conversation. What was she hiding that she was so afraid of me finding out? And why is it she's hiding? I opened the door, Grayson and jaz just stared at me "how long have you been standing there?" Jaz asked "long enough" I replied I walked over and sat on the bed "what are enough hiding?" I asked "look mark is my dad and Noah is your dad but we are still sisters'' jaz said "look I know it's a lot to take in so we will give you time"-I cut Grayson off "I don't need time" I said quietly "why are you mad at him?" I asked "Millie he left me why wouldn't I be mad" jaz said "maybe he had a good reason" I suggested "he did'' Grayson commented "and that was?" I asked "he and your mom we both young (they were 19) and it wasn't working out between them and they both just weren't ready so he left to make her life better" Grayson said, glancing at jaz. "I see" I said I turned to jaz. "Look I know that must hurt but he had a reason and a good reason he was just protecting you" I said trying not to make things worse. Jaz looked down at the floor but she didn't say anything "and if he'd never left I never would have been born" I said jaz's eyes shot back to mine "I'm sorry" jaz apologized tears ran down her face. she hugged me "you're fine I know you're just upset' I said "I know but that doesn't give 'em the right to be a jerk about it" jaz said "you were not a jerk Jazmin'' Grayson chimed in. "You were just upset, everyone gets upset, you're a very smart girl I know you'll make a good decision" Grayson said "no I'm not I'm stupid and ugly and just a horrible person" jaz said in tears. Grayson lifted up her chin to face his "jaz you are the most perfect most beautiful person I have ever met." I slowly walked out. "Gryson, you don't mean that" jaz said "I do I really do jaz" jaz smiled "you are so pretty and smart okay I need you to understand that" Grayson looked into her eyes "and I love you so much and I hate to see you cry" jaz looked at him "you-you love me?" Jaz asked "yes I do so so much" Grayson answered. Jaz didn't know what to do so she kissed him. "I'm so sorry" jaz apologized "don't be" Grayson said then he hugged jaz.

I walked back over to mark he was sitting on the couch in the living room. "Mark" I said as I walked over to him "yes?" Mark said "jaz told me everything and I'm glad we found you" I said smiling "look I know I may not be your biological father but you both are my daughter no matter what" mark said smiling "thank you" i said as I hugged him. Jaz and Grayson came into the room "I'm so sorry" jaz said to mark "no your fine I understand you were upset" mark said "thank you" jaz said "so now what do we live here now?" I asked "why wouldn't my daughters live with me" mark said as he stood up "wait really" jaz said "well you guys have been living here already, I'm not just going to kick you out" mark Said "I guess that's fair" I said "wait what about your parents?" Mark asked "it's a long story but they passed a while ago" jaz said "oh I'm sorry to hear that" mark said "thanks" I said quietly. "Wait there wheeze more riddles" I sat as I walked over to my room then came back "what can you lift but can't throw?" I read "I turned to max then to jaz and Grayson. "Mark, can you help us?" Max said like he's given up. "No I'm sorry I didn't make these riddles" Mark said softly "wait what" jaz said Mark turned to me "your father did"I looked at him blankly "why did he send us to you now after he passed?" Jaz asked me to turn to her. "He neve wanted me to visit but he always said after he passed he wanted you guys to be with someone you can trust" Mark said "oh okay" I said softly. "I'm really tired," said Max. "me to" Grayson agreed "let's go to bed then" I said as we all walked to our rooms. I layed in bed, my brain filled with thoughts. I couldn't get my mind off of what Mark had said. If my dad hated him, why'd he send us to him and why now?

I couldn't sleep. My mind was filled with thoughts, some good, some bad. But then all of the memories came back. I had hit my head so I couldn't remember anything but it all makes sense now.

"MOM MOVE!!" I cried, mom stood there as the flashlight lights of a bus's headlights hit her "MOM!!" I screamed in tears and fell to the floor "mom" I said crying I couldn't breathe "mom" I quietly said as I passed out. The cops and ambulance showed up to the scene. "We got a code 9 a passed out tenager on sunset drive right across the street from where a woman was brutally ran over by a bus we have no license plate yet" (walkie talkie noises) I opened my eyes as I sat up panting my head was pounding and I heard a ringing in my ears. I woke up in tears. The memory was so fair before but it's all clear now. I couldn't catch my breath. Panting I sat there trying to calm down I took a sip of water.

GET OUT OF MY HOUSE AND STAY AWAY FROM MY KIDS!!" Dad screamed "okay I will" she said as she shot. "NOAH!" cried Camilla as Jazmin left her room to see her dad on the floor "dad!" She yelled then ran to him.

I remember watching from the window I couldn't bear to go in as I watched my father die. In tears I stood up, my legs shaking. I went to the bathroom to take a shower and calm down.
