Me and Max walked into the house to see Grayson and jaz sitting on the couch. "Hey max, Millie can you come here we need to talk" Grayson said as we nodded then sat down. "We were talking and we think you guys should finish out senior year" jaz smiled "please I need you guys to graduate and I know it is the middle of the year but I need you guys to try, okay?" Grayson said "okay I guess we can try" max said as he turned to me "yeah" I agreed.

Then the next day was our first day back to high school. "Millie, come down max doesn't have all day!" Jaz shouted "okay I'm coming" I said as I ran downstairs and into the car. "Finally you took so long I thought you died " max joked "haha so funny" I said "just drive" I said max nodded then drove off. It was the first period me and max walked in and everyone was whispering. "Did you hear that's the girl who shot her uncle" "did you know she shot her dad" I just ignored them then me and max sat in the back. "Welcome back Millie and Max," the teacher said, smiling. A girl in the front raised her hand "yes Melisa'' the teacher said "is it true that Millie shot her uncle?" Everyone turned to us. The teacher glared at her "time and place Melisa, time and place." Asking to out car "hi you might not know me but I'm jayson I saw you earlier I was wondering if I can talk to you" I turned to max, he shook his head I mouthed "give me a sec" then I turned to jayson "sure" I said a I got out of the car.

We walked over to the side of the school and I saw a group of boys "what did you want to talk about?" I asked "is that your brother?" He asked if I just looked at him "no that's my boyfriend" I responded "oh he is now" another boy said "I wanted to tell you something" jayson said "okay" I said back "why did you kill my dad, huh!?" I just stared at him "excuse me?" I asked that guy you killed, that was my dad!" Jayson yelled as he punched me in the stomach "he doesn't have kids I thought" I said my stomach pounded in pain. "Ye she does me and now you will pay!" He shouted then punched me again after that was a blur I blacked out. I woke up on the ground "oh you're awake" Jayson said I just looked at him then got up and ran off to the car. Max looked at me "what the heck happened!?" He said as he got out of the car to help me in. "Mike was his dad and he wanted me to pay," I said quietly. "Your nose is bleeding and you have a black eye" max cried "oh my your bleeding" max said "yeah I know my nose" I said max shook his head "no not that your stomach" he pointed to my stomach I looked down to see my shirt drenched in blood "we need to get you to a hospital!" Max cried as he pulled out his phone to call 911. Once they showed up they rushed me to the hospital. Max walked in "hey how are you feeling?" I looked down at my stomach "well they stopped the bleeding" I shrugged "but I feel a little better" tried to smile.

"Milie you are dismissed to go home" I looked at the nurse "okay" I turned to max "will you help me up?" I asked "sure" max said as he helped me up then we walked to the car. "Just so you can prepare mentally jaz and Grayson will be really worried so I don't know what they'll do, I'm just trying to warn you" Grayson said "yeah I know I just don't know what I'm going to say" I said as I looked out the window. "You're going to tell the truth" Max said I didn't reply. "right?" Max asked "huh-oh yeah I guess" I said "where almost there right?" I asked "yeah, we're like 3 minutes away" Grayson said. We pulled into the driveway to see Grayson and jaz sitting on the front porch once we got out i could see the tears in jaz's eyes. "Millie" jaz looked me up and down "what happened to you!?" Grayson's voice was shaky. I didn't reply. I just looked at Max then back to grayson "I'm tired" I said as I walked past them I shut the door behind me. I walked up to my room and sat on my bed as I played with my rubber band as I heard it slap against my wrist. I saw blood fall on my pants "shoot my nose is bleeding again" I thought as I grabbed a tissue. I heard a knock on my door "Millie" Grayson said as he opened the door then he sat next to me "Millie what happened?" He asked "I don't want them to get in trouble" I looked down. "Them?!" Grayson asked "yeah" I said softly "what happened, who did this to you?" Grayson couldn't stop with the questions. I looked at him "i got beat up to state"Fine to answer your second question there was a group of boys one of them named Jayson" I said

"Why would they do this to you?" Grayson asked "I killed his father" I looked into grayson dark green eyes "so they beat you" I nodded grayson got up and rushed out I pulled his arm back "please don't get him in trouble " I pleaded "I'm sorry Millie but I have to this is not right" grayson said as he looked for his phone "what are you looking for?" Jaz asked "my phone" Grayson said as he stopped to look at her "oh I have it I was sending some photos to my phone" jaz said as she handed it to him "no please Grayson" I begged "what's going on?" Jaz asked "Millie told me"-"stop" I begged "Millie told me what happend" Grayson said it so fast I couldn't stop him. Jaz stopped and stared "what happened?" Jaz asked "a group of boys beat her up" . Jaz looked at me "jaz I don't want you to cry" I said but it was too late. "why would they do this to you?" Jaz asked in tears "I killed his dad" I said softly "our uncle?!" Has asked. "No violet and mike Never married so we were not related and violets not the mom he left her" I replied "how do you know this" jaz asked "one of his friends told me before I blacked out" I said.
