OMG they were roommates (F)

Amity sighed as she sat on her bed with her textbook. Her old roommates had just moved out and she was getting a new one for the rest of the semester. All she hoped for was a quiet roommate.

The door opened and in stepped in a wide eyed girl with curly dark brown hair and tan skin.

"Hi. I'm Luz noceda! I'm your new roommate."

Amity looked her up and down. She was wearing a slightly cropped purple and white striped shirt with cargo pants. Nothing too bad. She had a few rings on and her nails were painted black.

"Just stick to your side of the room. And if you're going to a party I don't want an invite."

Amity kept an eye on her roommate for the week it took her to set up nothing out of the ordinary. She had a bookshelf installed with the 'good witch azura' books on it and all her textbooks. The two didn't speak until one day.

"No mother, she's gone. I have a new roommate. Her name is luz. She seems fine. She isn't really here during the night but i'm not sure. Yes I know. No. Hang on." luz tapped amity on the shoulder with a stressed expression.

"So sorry to bother you, I just had a question. Are you afraid of snakes?"

"No? Why?"

"I have a snake. She's small and she stays small. Would you be fine with me moving her in?"

Amity let out a sigh as her own cat popped her head out. "I don't care but I have a cat so keep it away from her."

Luz smiled wide as she grabbed a terrarium and set it up, in sat a tiny purple snake with ears? Amity hung up the phone and looked at it.

"What is she?"

"She's a science experiment gone wrong. They mixed cat and snake DNA. They threw her out because they didn't know what to do with her. I found her and she's been with me for the last two years. Her name is stringbean."

Amity didn't know how to feel about luz, when she was there she was nice but once the sun went down luz lost the cargo pants and usually wore revealing tops or short shorts just like amity's last roommate. Weeks went by with this same routine until one night.

"Hey amity. Do you mind if I have some people over?"

"Yeah just keep it down, I have to study."

Within minutes there was a knock at the door. Two people stood in the doorway. A short male with a blue shirt and jeans he had gold glasses and had his hair in dreads. The other was a girl who dyed her hair dark green. She was in gym shorts and a tank top. She was definitely more filled out but also looked like she was 70% muscle.

"This is Amity, my roommate. Amity this is gus and willow. We'll try and keep it down."

Amity just rolled her eyes expecting this to be like a sleepover or something seeing how willow had brought a cooler.

"I've never seen a color like that."

"Chameleon DNA at its finest!"

"Oh, can I have some of those to feed to string beans?"

"Wait, what's the molecular compound again?"

"Do you think viney would know more?"

Amity couldn't take it. "You're a nerd?!" she shouted

"Huh? What are you talking about of course I am." luz laughed. "I'm studying English and art! I own a snake and the entire good which azura book series, signed and hardcover. What would make you think I'm not?"
