Owl house short stories!

(im going to say this now this is not something I really ship but finding a poly ship for owl house that sat right with me was hard. seriously in total there are like 7 poly ships I could find and only 4 were romantic. and they were camilraeda, darialraeda, lavender winter (hunter Luz amity willow) and edhuntlow, so I went with edhuntlow cause it quite frankly was the easiest.

if you dont like the ship or the story thats okay. I was just trying to finish the challenge and im not to sure about it myself. its a human au as well. so enjoy or skip if you would like. )

It's been years since I've been back here. This manor hasn't changed much has it. Should we really be doing this?

"Hunter? Are you okay?" there it is, there is the light of my life. My wife willow. We've been married for just about five years now. A little over a year ago we decided to open our relationship after a lot of talking. Neither of us are straight and both of us wanted to explore more parts of our sexualities. We tried with a few people none that really fit with our lifestyle, i was hopeful with skara seeing how happy willow was with her but it didn't work out then we met edric.

I dated edric in highschool for about a year we split due to issues on my part. I met Willow the following year and we were inseparable. Edric and Willow get along really well and there was never any bad blood between me and him. At the beginning everything was perfect. He fit so well into our lives but now, I'm not so sure.

"Yeah I'm fine. You know how I get in my own head sometimes."

Willow smiled and knocked on the large door and edric and emira stood on the other side.

"Hello my loves." edric smiled before kissing both mine and willows cheeks.

"Have fun." Emira laughs before taking off.

Willow and I follow edric with him holding her other hand. He had set up a picnic for the three of us since it was a nice day. It was a beautiful view and a nice spread.

"Edric, this is wonderful!" Willow smiled.

"Don't mention it. You good hunt?" The two of them looked at me as I took a seat a little away from the blanket.

"Yeah I'm fine."

"Oh there's a garden fair coming up! With stands and games and even contests! I got tickets just in case because I thought it's something you would like!" edric smiled holding up two tickets. "I figured you guys could have a day date!"

"That's so thoughtful! What do you think, hunter?" Willow asked.

Fairs meant crowds, crowds meant people, and noise, and just too much. "I think I might have to sit this one out. I think it might be too much for me. But I think the two of you should go."

"Really? You sure?" edric asked, reaching out to try and take my hand. I pulled it away.

"Yeah. Plus I most likely will have to work. I'm picking up more hours now that Dell is about to retire."

The conversation shifted away from the fair to just catching up in the week we had been apart, Willow telling edric about a date of ours we had and him telling us about spending time with emira and viney. As I spoke with them I couldn't help the feeling in the back of my head creeping forward. She's so happy. She's always happy though. But is she always this happy?

Just as we headed back to edric's house to spend the night he stopped me. "Hey are you okay? You pulled away earlier."

"Yeah, scars are bothering me."

"Okay. You had me worried for a minute." and there it is, that big bright smile that drew me to him all those years ago, the smile that for a time I thought I had lost forever.
