it was obvious to any member of the household that there was a fight currently occuring between noa and conrad, especially after the pair had slept in seperate rooms last night, but deciding to be the bigger person noa did what she always did, listened to conrad's excuses

"hey" she said with a tight lipped smile as she entered their shared bedroom

"noa um hi" conrad jumped out of bed as soon as he saw the brunette girl enter

"so we need to talk" she moved to sit down on the bed patting the spot next to her for the boy to sit,

"yeah we do"

"so nicole told me what happened, and as pissed as i am i had a feeling it was gonna happen" noa sighed, "but what i wasn't prepared to find out that you told belly you wanted to take to the ball for your own merit"

"oh so she told you everything" conrad hung his head low

"yeah she did and i'm glad that she did" noa rolled her shoulders back before continuing, "i talked to belly she said she's not taking you to the ball, so i think the least i deserve is for you to take me and we'll discuss us later but i think i really need my space okay?"

"yeah of course, i will take you" conrad smiled

"okay well i have to head off but i'll see you tonight conrad" noa rose from the bed

"bye noa, i love you"

the girl smiled at his words before exiting the room, it was the conversation that they needed to have but it was a start, maybe even the start of the end.

noa had now situated herself at a vanity in country club beginning to get herself ready for the debutante ball before nicole sat down beside her,

"hey, uh how are you?" the girl asked

"i'm a lot better than yesterday" noa chuckled, "i don't think me and cousins mix very well"

"well if it makes you feel better i think you and cousins mix just fine its just the drama that found you that hasn't" nicole smiled, "i think i can speak for all of us girls when i say we all love you and having you here has been amazing"
