Chapter 3

Nancy's pov

Robin turned towards Nancy once they stopped near Vickie's house," You've been kind of quiet,are you alright? " Nancy nodded slowly," Sorry,just a lot of stuff on my mind since,you know." Robin gave a sympathetic look to Nancy," Steve has been quiet since we faced Vecna too. Probably sad about...Eddie." The two girls looked down sadly,the one time Eddie didn't run away,he died,he died to save them. They looked at each other for a moment before Robin spoke," We should go inside.Can't keep Vickie waiting."

Robin and Nancy got out of the car,knocking on Vickie's door. An excited Vickie opened the door for them," Come in!" Vickie grabbed Robin's hand and Nancy saw Robin blushing,causing her to chuckle a bit.

Nancy walked in after Vickie and Robin,looking at the living room. There were blankets and pillows set up on the couch and floor. " Wait,I forgot to heat up the popcorn!",Vickie rushed into the kitchen,leaving her and Robin in the living room. " I'm glad you have a good..friend like Vickie,Robin." Robin smiled at Nancy,"So,what happened in the car?" Nancy was confused herself,what had happened in the car?" I guess I thought you needed a bit of comforting after all that's happened."

Vickie returned with a bowl filled with popcorn in her hand,grabbing the Top Gun tape from the floor and putting it in. She then sat on the other side of Robin,gently setting the bowl down. " I have been waiting for a while to see this!" Robin's enthusiasm was enough to make Nancy smile," You're so cute." Nancy blurted out. Her eyes widened as she started to realize what she said to Robin. Fortunately,Robin hadn't noticed because she was focused on someone else,Vickie.

Halfway into the movie,Robin started to fall asleep,laying her head on Vickie's shoulder.Nancy felt her stomach twist a bit when she saw this,but she just brushed it off,maybe she ate something bad. She flinched when she felt something on her hand,looking down,she saw Robin's freckled hand on her's. She heard Robin mumbling in her sleep,so she used her free hand to gently pat Robin's head.After a while she herself started to fall asleep,her eyes closing slowly as she fell asleep.

Nancy was back in the car before her and Robin went into Vickie's house. " You've been kind of quiet,are you alright?" Nancy looked over at Robin,"  I feel so happy around you,happier than I was with Jonathan." Robin smiled,it was the smile that Nancy loved most," I love your smile,it's cute." She put her hand on Robin's cheek,rubbing it. " I love everything about you." Robin leaned into the touch,"It's good that you're feeling better."The two stared at each for a few moments before Robin leaned forward and-

Nancy woke up to Robin carrying her to her car.Robin must have noticed that Nancy was awake,so she started talking," Must have been a nice dream!You were asleep for a while." She smiled at Robin," It was about a friend of mine." She started to blush at the thought of Robin,and she seemed to notice and said," Aw! You're turning red,do you like them?" Nancy thought for a moment,did she like Robin,no. The dream must have meant something else." I don't."

Nancy yawned quietly,looking over to Robin," I don't think I can go back to my place this late." In that moment,it seemed like an invisible light bulb had appeared above Robin's head," You could stay at my place,if you're okay with that."Nancy smiled ear to ear," I love- I'd love to!"

When the two got there,Nancy almost tripped when she got out,only to be caught by Robin. She looked into Robin's eyes before quickly getting up,what was that? " Sorry about that! Wasn't paying attention." Nancy's face turned bright red," Um,anyways,let's go inside!"

Nancy looked around Robin's dirty bedroom,her clothes and some pillows were almost everywhere. She had looked for a few more seconds when a pillow was thrown at her head. Nancy chuckled,picking up the pillow and hitting Robin with it. " What's that,Wheeler? You want a pillow fight?I'll give you one!",Robin said to Nancy with a playful look before grabbing a pillow,hitting Nancy on the head with it," You'll pay for that,Buckley!" She then threw her pillow at Robin," You just gave me more ammo!" Nancy acted terrified," Oh no! The horrifying Robin is coming to get me! What am I going to do?" Robin smirked at her,hitting her with both of her pillows. Nancy fell back onto the bed," Alright,you won."

Robin grabbed one of the pillows from her bed,putting it on the floor along with an extra blanket." Robin,it's fine if you sleep up here." Robin looked up at Nancy,"Are you sure?" Nancy nodded. After that,she helped Robin up onto the bed. " Today was nice",Nancy admitted quietly to Robin. She just smiled at Nancy," I'm glad you thought so." Nancy felt her face turn red as Robin scooted closer to her," Goodnight,Nance."

" Goodnight,Robin."
