Robin slowly blinked away her sleepiness, patting the spot next to her to feel that it was empty. She could see Nancy's shape in the bed, wondering where she had went. The door creaked open,Nancy in the doorway holding two plates full of pancakes and eggs in her hands. "I could use some help, lazy pants." Robin rushed over to help her,a playful smirk growing on her face,Nancy knew that she was about to be teased. "Who says lazy pants? What are you,an old woman?" She burst out laughing,"Oh my gosh, stop teasing me! It's getting hard for me to hold these plates." Robin rolled her eyes playfully,"Fine,I'll help."

Robin dropped her plate full of pancakes on the nightstand, jumping onto her bed. "I can't believe that we get to escape Hawkins after all this time,no more monsters,no more murderous jocks. I kinda feel bad for Steve, though. He's going to be all alone now that his only best friend has left." Nancy smiled,"He still has Dustin,my favorite." Robin playfully rolled her eyes,"Whatever." Nancy looked down at the pictures left on their nightstand, their were pictures of random trees, red squirrels, and the two girls. She smiled at the pictures,"With all these pictures you took I thought you'd be a photographer or something." Robin shrugged,"My true passion is music, but photography makes it into my top 5." She bumped Nancy's shoulder gently,"What about you?" She answered after a moment,"It was always journalism for me,it just increased after Barb-" She paused for a moment, almost as if she still couldn't believe it "-died." Robin's hand hovered over Nancy's shoulder before eventually falling down, she wasn't sure if she should comfort Nancy with physical touch or not,but her worries were eased when Nancy leaned into her hand. "I guess we should go now, don't wanna be driving until it's late."

When Nancy had pulled up to Robin's college, she took in the sights, freshly cut green grass in front of the tall, grey building that had windows everywhere. Robin let out an excited squeal,"Holy shit. This looks amazing, the design, the grass, everything! It might just be great to be out of Hawkins for once but this looks amazing, right out of a movie!" A smile grew on Nancy's face as she watched Robin gush over the building,"I'm glad you like it." She stepped out of the car after Nancy parked, scrambling to open the door for her. "Should we head inside to my dorm?"

The halls of the college were filled with students who were talking and moving things to their dorms. Robin kept Nancy by her side, she didn't want to lose her in the crowd. When the two finally got to the dorms,Robin turned the key in the lock, unlocking the door. She pushed the door open to see two empty twin sized beds. There was a cabinet, but besides from those three things, the room was empty. Her roommate clearly hadn't arrived yet. Robin inspected the room a bit more, looking down at the clean, wooden floors. Nancy dropped a few of the boxes off in the corner of the room, dropping one extra box that Robin hadn't put in the car on the bed. She tilted her head at the box,"What is this?" Nancy smiled,"A gift. Open it and you'll see" Robin carefully grabbed the box,"Is there a reason why you're being extra mysterious,Wheeler?" She opened the box to find a table that needed to be assembled and somewhere to put her music. "I had a table left over in storage, and I went out and bought that while you were asleep at the hotel." Robin smiled softly at Nancy, wrapping her arms around her,"Thank you. I really appreciate it." The two girls swayed around until they heard a voice at the door frame," Am I interrupting something?"

The quickly pulled away from each other, looking up to see a girl about an inch taller than Nancy with a pixie cut and a piercing in her nose. She went a few seconds without a response and then shrugged,"It's fine,I just need to put my stuff down for a second. It was a pain driving here." She yawned, dropping boxes off on her own bed before groggily walking out. "I'm guessing that was your roommate." Robin poked her head out of the door to see her roommate walking to another dorm. "Do you think she believes in Bigfoot?" Nancy suddenly burst out laughing, causing Robin to give her a confused look, her eyebrow raised. "What? I'm being serious,I'm very passionate about my conspiracy theories like aliens, ghosts, and Bigfoot." Nancy forced herself to stop laughing," We almost kissed in front of her and what you're worried about is Bigfoot? That's what's got me laughing." Robin muttered,"You're weird." She shook her head before unpacking the rest of her things.

Nancy had to go soon, she didn't want to be late to the campus and lose the chance to unpack. The drive to Ermerson from the New England Conservatory may have been short, but she knew she'd lose track of time with Robin and have to drive at night, something she wouldn't be looking forward to. "It was nice getting you to your dorm, but I have to go,alright?" Nancy glanced at Robin who gave her a small smile,"Alright. Thank you,Nance. I might've been able to do it without help, but you really helped by grabbing one box." She joked, her playful smirk growing. Nancy pulled her in for a hug, this time Robin's roommate didn't walk in on them. Robin pulled Nancy into a soft kiss. After that, she waved goodbye as she walked out of Robin's room.

"Do you think we should invite Steve over sometime?" Robin put her arm around Nancy as they lay on the bed watching TV,with Robin's roommate,Emmet a few months after starting college. "From what I hear,he's kinda weird,I like that." She added as she shoveled popcorn into her mouth. "Yeah,he is. You'd definitely like him,if you could get past him acting like a kid." Nancy giggled at Robin's comment. "I'll send him a letter later-" before Robin could interrupt her,she continued,"-and if you think that sounds like an old person thing, you're just as childish as Steve." Emmet chuckled,"Yep,call her out." Robin put a hand on her heart,"I feel attacked." Nancy smiled,"Alright, alright,I'll stop. We'll have Steve to tease when we send him a letter." Emmet sighed dramatically,"Thank God. I can't survive without my daily dosage of teasing and bullying."

Emmet eventually fell asleep, leaving Nancy and Robin awake. She gave Nancy a kiss on the cheek,"I feel like going on a walk." Just as Robin got out of bed,Nancy gently pulled her hand,"Can I come with?" Robin nodded with a small smile, quietly opening the door. Light flooded their room as they crept out,but it escaped when they closed the door again. As soon as they stepped outside, snow landed on Nancy's nose,Robin flicked it gently. "So why did you want to walk?" Nancy asked as they walked down the street, her head tilting in interest. Robin shrugged,"I wanted to see snow before winter break started. I've never seen it in my life, unless you count that fake snow that I saw in your basement one time, that was cool. Where did you get it? I want to walk into snow during the summer, imagine if there was snow though, that would be cool." Nancy smiled at Robin's cute rambling," You could borrow some,if you want. Or you could just come over during the holidays." Her eyes lit up at the thought of going to Nancy's house," That would be nice, since I didn't really get to meet your parents."

"It's a deal then." Nancy put her arm around Robin's waist,"Wanna head back?" Robin shook her head, with a love filled look she whispered into Nancy's ear,"I'd rather enjoy this snowfall with you." She chuckled at Robin's answer, resting her head on Robin's warm shoulder. Nancy could barely believe how lucky she was to be with Robin. Nancy thought she had found something good with Jonathan where both of them would stay, but Robin actually would and Nancy valued what they had like gold, and she'd do what she needed to do to keep it. "I love you,Robin." It caught Robin off guard, but after a few moments, she hummed,"I love you too,Nance."
