The rain hits your umbrella hard as you make your way throught the bad weather. You may love the rain , you really do but by god it feels like a hurricane out here.
Trying to get out of the rain you quickly search for a shelter from this awful weather ( can't believe you're saying this ).
On the other side of the street hope has arrived for you as you the bookstore your friend owns. You look left and right before quickly running down the street towards the entrance.
You burst throught the door , practicly scaring the livng shit out of your friend . You look towards her as she quickly reagusted herself.
"Heyyy y/n , what brings you out here on this stormy day ?" She said with a smile .

"Hey Marcia , I thought I was just going to go on a walk to calm my nerves , I didn't expect the weather to turn this bad ".
"Well you can't really blame yourself , the weather forecast didn't do their job properly "
"Hah , I guess ". "I guess that also means I'm stuck here for a while ".
"Hey now , don't say it like it's a bad thing.....don't tell me you would'nt have come if the weather was this bad"

"HoW cOulD yOu , I ThoUghT We WerE fRieNds !" Marcia started to fake cry making you roll your eyes as you let out a chuckle.
"Well anyway Marcia , do you have any new books that I could ste-buy".
"Har har , yea we got a new batch of romance , mystery and horror books that just recently arrived " "You could read any of those to pass the time as you wait , I have a couple of paperwork I need to get done before the end of the day".
"Yea thanks Marcia !"
"Eh".
You went towards the bookshelf with the big "NEW" sign on it. Really you just asked Marcia if there were new books to bother her even thought there was a big sign telling you there was.
You scan through the books until you come across a interesting sounding one.
"The sea prince"
You read the description of the book , it sounded pretty interesting. " A young prince cursed by his ex lover for his infedelity and turned into a fish , only turning back into a human every 100 years , read the story of how this fishy prince ends his cycle of suffering".
"Cool".
You took the book of the shelf and proceeded to find a nice spot to sit down at and read. You were caught up into the story very quickly.
You were so focused on the story you didn't even the bell of the store door go off.
