It was dark. Calin sat in the back seat of Lydia's car with her and jackson as they pulled up to the video store arguing over what to watch
"The Hoosiers is not only the best basketball movie ever. It is the best sports movie ever made" Jackson argued with Lydia
"No" she stated bluntly.
"It's got Gene Hackman and Denis Hopper" he continued to argue
"No" lydia stated again
"Look, there's gotta be some kind of basketball move that also happens to be a rom com" Calin spoke up. Lydia and Jackson both turned and gave her a look. Calin sat back, nodding her head "Got it..stay out of it" she muttered
"Lydia, I swear to god ur going to like it" Jackson started again.
"No" lydia stated bluntly again. Jackson looked at her angrily
"I am not watching the notebook again" he told her annoyed.
Lydia turned her head, finally looking at him with raised eyes and a slight smile. Jackson sighed, rolling his eyes as he got out of the car and walked into the store.
Calin smiled and hopped over the center council and into the front seat with Lydia "Uh..u know, there r doors" lydia stated. Calin smiled and shrugged
"I didn't touch the center council with my shoes, promise" she told her. Lydia shrugged her shoulders, rolling her eyes slightly
"So..u and me..it's kind of funny" lydia started
"Why?" Calin asked
"Because it was always u and Marisa and then me. Then it was me and Allison and u and Marisa apart" she chuckled "now it's me and u and Allison and Marisa"
"Allison is still ur friend"
"Yeah, but now Marisa is living with her" Lydia stated, like she was grossed out or slightly betrayed "I mean, she hadn't rly talked to me since Marisa moved in. She did a total friend swap"
"Well, Marisa went back home. I mean, I thought she was gonna wait until her dad got back but I saw her lights on the other night so..she's home" Calin informed her. Lydia smiled slightly
"Hm" she hummed
"Lydia..do.."
"And so allison is ours again" lydia celebrated and Calin sighed, rolling her eyes
"Lydia. What is it that u have against Merisa? I mean, it's seriously annoying. She didn't do anything to u" Calin told her. Lydia sighed, shrugging her shoulders
"No. She didn't, but that doesn't mean I have to like her" she told her, giving her a smile.
"U know, u and Marisa r a lot a like" Calin told her making Lydia roll her eyes "I'm serious. U both don't state ur true feelings, u don't like to be yourself around most people, u don't have a lot of people u trust around u, and u both secretly love and miss each other but won't admit it and cover it with anger and resentment" Calin told her.
