[16] Coffee with Kira

I stared at Tiny as he panted, his big puppy eyes looking back at me. After yesterday's events, I was worried about the arrow and Tiny. His sickness went down when I was at the mall; he was back to his usual self by night.

But as anime rules go, getting stabbed by the Stand Arrow means getting a Stand. So it was time to experiment.

"Sit!" I commanded as Tiny sat in front of me. I was staring at his face before blinking, a black dog with red eyes appeared beside Tiny after a blinked. I stared dumbfounded before blinking again making another appear.

This continued until a whole pack of dogs was in my living room, all sitting nicely around me.

"Uh, roll over?" I said slowly watching all of the dogs flop over and roll. I watched in amusement seeing some of them bumping into each other.

"Alright fetch," I said tossing a dog toy across the room. No one moved until Tiny barked, making one of the black dogs trot over and pick up the toy. The black dog waddled over to me before dropping the toy back into my hands.

I looked over at Tiny, he staring proudly at me.

"You lazy shit, good boy," I said giving him pets. Once I did that I was surrounded by the other dogs also begging for a pet. I tried to bend down and pet the black dogs but my hand phased through them. The black dogs whimpered making me sad as well.

"Right stand, can't touch," I mumbled sitting on the ground trying to pet dogs I couldn't touch. The dogs tried rubbing up against me as Tiny lay in my lap enjoying the warmth.

"I COULD fix this," I said thinking of the Golden Arrow in my closet. I was snapped out of those thoughts hearing my phone vibrate.

I got off of the floor watching the dogs look at me sadly before I went to grab my phone. Unlocking the device revealed a message from Kira about getting coffee.

I completely forgot about agreeing to that.

My heart reached with panic as I ran upstairs to get ready, realizing I'd probably have to go to the town hall right after. I grabbed a bag before shoving my fancy clothes into it to change later.

I was a little worried about seeing Kira since he was him, but my worries were calmed slightly seeing the pack of dogs in my room. I smiled at all of the dogs before giving one last pet to Tiny.

"Protect the house 'kay?" I said as he barked at me.

My heart warmed a little before I left to finally meet with Kira for coffee.

I walked into a small coffee shop, seeing only a few people enjoying the morning. The small shop smelled of sweets and caffeine making me almost get a contact high. While looking around I spotted Kira sitting alone at a small table sipping a cup of fresh bean water.

"(Name), glad you could make it." The man in question said, spotting me walking in. I smiled and walked over before taking a seat across from him.

"Nice to see you again, Kira," I said waving a waiter over. I quickly ordered before returning to the man, catching him staring dreamily at my hands.

"Have you been using the hand cream I gave you?" He asked looking away and sipping his coffee.

"Oh yes, I have! It's quite nice." I said glancing at my hands. I could see Kira giving my hands nervous glances like it was something dirty, which it was for him. That thought made a blush creep its way up my neck.
