I lounged on the couch and ate slightly cold pasta from a Tupperware container. I leaned forward and picked up the remote to turn the TV on.

The brightness of the device burned my eyes in the pitch-black room just like my full-brightness phone. I blinked away the pain before using the remote to click on the Netflix app. I glanced at all the leeches- I mean friends- before clicking on my profile.

It was all auto-pilot from there as I navigated the app with my mind zoning out. I drifted back to my recent dream that was still fresh in my mind.

Strangely enough, I couldn't help but assume the old man I dreamed of was what I'd imagined God to be. So I guess my mind decided to give me a weird warning from God as a joke. However somewhere in my heart, I worried it wasn't a joke.

I zoned back in hearing the intro for Phantom Blood play. I wondered for a moment if I could watch all of it before daybreak. I settled in my seat hearing the story begin of Jonathan's mother's death and Dio's dad's corpse-robbing shenanigans.

A soft breeze blew itself on my face as my eyes opened slowly. I was staring up at a lush green tree with speaks of sunlight peeking through.

"Did I fall asleep again?" I muttered softly rolling onto my side and noticing I was lying on some soft grass under a tree. I cuddle into the grass breathing in the fresh scent, wanting nothing more than to fall back into nothingness.

I was snapped out of those thoughts as I heard a dog bark. I sat up looking around my lush country-style surroundings. I was near a river that ran alongside a road that had cute little wooden fences that blocked off all of the grasslands around here.

I looked to my side seeing a Harlequin Great Dane running along the side of the fence. It looked happy with his big ears flapping in the wind and his goofy grin. It wasn't long until the Dog ran up to me and jumped.

I was crushed under the dog as he began licking my face. I let out giggles rubbing the sides of the friendly dog's head.

"Wow, there cutie! Who might you be?" I laughed removing myself from under the dog still giving him many pets. I kept rubbing his head as my other hand traveled to the collar around his neck.

"Danny? What a good name for a good boy!" I praised the dog squishing his face. He barks happily licking at my hands and nuzzling into me.

If this was a dream, it sure as hell was a good one compared to the other one. I wake up in this pretty countryside with a cute dog by my side.

"Danny! Danny, where are you!?" An English male voice called out making Danny's head perk up.

"Oh Danny, you know you shouldn't run off like that! Please come out!" A posh female voice shouted out soon after.

I stood pulling the large dog out of my arms and glanced from behind the tree. I froze seeing two familiar faces searching around desperately for their beloved dog.

A few meters away from me stood Erina Pendleton and Jonathan Joestar. I stared at them as Danny ran from behind the tree and up to them.

Surely this was a dream, a pleasant dream of meeting my favorite series characters. I almost could get on my knees and pray to god right now for giving me such a gift. As the two quickly grabbed their dog and started to worryly fuss over him I felt like I could faint at their beautiful features.
